I would say Madison. It's a much bigger store with much more inventory and they're more "********ic" - if you get to know an SA and you build a relationship you'll be able to get what you are looking for.

I agree. Manhasset is more like a life-long relationship. It takes forever to finally get what you want, but once you're in the circle, you get stuff pretty consistently. When I was shopping at Madison I was offered a B the first trip, and lots of good stuff thereafter.

FYI, the NYC boutiques have new summer hours. Wall Street is open M-F 10-7 and Saturday 11-5, and Madison's summer hours are Mon-Sat 10-7 (they are usually open til 6 except Thursday, so it's basically Thursday hours all week now). I am going to stop by Wall Street today just because I can!

Good to know! I thought Wall Street only had Saturday hours around Christmas. I had no idea that they ever added Saturdays for the summer!

So I'm going to NYC for a work trip the first week of Aug. I've been to a lot of H boutiques but never to any in New York. I'm staying in SoHo, so the closest one is Wall Street. Is this one smaller than the others? Is it harder to get "good stuff" than at Madison? I'm not looking for a B/K, but a C or C wallet, KP, or KC is high on the list. TIA!

Yes, it's smaller, yet quite well stocked, with excellent service. I've never left without either something I was looking for or a suitable alternative.

Wall Street is great in terms of accommodating walk ins and tourist. There was a Kelly Pochette on the shelf and for sale (no reserve sign!) a few months ago.

Wall Street is smaller, but the staff there is great and very accommodating. They have extended hours through summer right now too!

I like the Madison store, it's the store I go to when I'm in town. They have really good stock vs my local store. I get offered more rodeos there than any other store. Can't comment on the SAs since I was referred to someone there and she has been great.

Hi Chloec! I'm going to NYC in a week and was hoping to score a nice B,K or clutch. Did you have to spend a lot the first trip there to get offered the B?

Think you should walk into the store with no expectations & you may be pleasantly surprised as to what you might find.
The majority of SA's there are helpful & accomodating. Truthfully, have not been disappointed in the Madison Ave store
& they have a decent inventory.

I agree, I love the Madison store. It's my go to store when I visit NYC. I was offered my first B there as a walk in with no purchase history from that store. I did have previous purchase history though. The inventory there is so much better than my local store and they seem to always have what I'm looking for. I think you'll find the invenory very good.
