Holy Moses!!!! Amazing Ghillies....is that a Bamboo 35???? HBD!!!!
I'm planning on visiting NYC this week and dropping into the boutiques so if I have to choose one store I will go to WS since Id prefer less crowd. thanks for the tip.

Thanks!
It's a 30. Try going midweek in the afternoon, coz i think that's when delivery comes. My DH almost let the door slam on my face coz he was in a hurry when he saw a guy taking out all the new deliveries to the floor and DH saw a jige in the color I want.

Thanks!

Your story made me chuckle because I always wonder how they bring in the new deliveries (really,WHEREeeee do they come in??? Is it FedEx? Is it an armored vehicle? Is it an H version of Santa's elves carrying the boxes?????) and how I would stop in my tracks if I saw a bunch of boxes being ushered in.

I hope you enjoy your B30 and the gorgeous color!

Thanks Israeli_Flava and may the H gods be in your favor!

Thanks SandySummer! It was almost closing so maybe they don't want people to run and grab the new stuff like my DH did. The guy told DH he has to wait for an SA to show it to him and took it back to the display case. 😆

Hi ladies!
I have a question as its been awhile for me visiting the Madison store and I need some helpful advice as the sales associate that I knew years ago is no longer there and I know that over the years Madison has changed how they operate the floors. Ok so here is my situation...I will be visiting Madison while on vacation in a month and my goal is to get a B or K as I have not purchased one in a few years. I truly love the brand overall, and because I do not have time to visit the stores I purchase a LOT online...regular large purchases each month from Hermes.com that comprises leather, a lot of RTW, jewelry, etc... I wear the RTW often and plan on buying something for sure from Madison when i'm there because as mentioned I really love the RTW so this is a no brainer as at least I get to touch it in the store rather than buying just off the website so i'm sure i'll find a few pieces lol. So... advice I need from the ladies who shop there is this...should I go downstairs and start up a conversation with a SA in leather and can I ask her/him to show me the RTW so they know that I am honestly going to be buying the RTW and really love the brand then ask for a B or K? Or should I go to the RTW and figure out what appeals to me and buy it and ask the RTW associate for the B or K? I'm puzzled because I do not know how to approach this because in the olden days lol my sales associate could not move from the lower level (where the leather is) and someone else sold me clothes etc... so please... advise me what I should do so I do not approach things wrongly. I plan on buying RTW, a pair of shoes, a couple scarves, and some horn or enamel jewelry. For those who know Madison where do I go first and what do you recommend LOL...I do not want to blow my chances as I really am going to purchase many items, but what should be my approach? Sorry for the long-windedness and thank you for listening!

omg, this! i was about to ask the same question too since it's been a while i purchased something from the Madison store as i usually order online now. i also dont have a permanent SA and my record from their system is all over the place. (i learned from it when the SA at the cashier told me i have 4 different accounts/ different SA in their system).
so my question to our lovely experienced tpfers, how can i score a B or K from the madison store? what is the right approach? should i head straight downstairs at the leather section and start a conversation to an SA or can i just speak to anyone? do i have to buy something first before asking if they got a B available? ok, i must admit, im so desperate/nervous to get a B now. LOL ::woot::pout::panic:

I'm not from NY but I just went there last month and I visited both Madison and Wall St. In Madison we chatted with an SA at the accessories area then we asked for a clutch she directed us to the leather dept. But we ended up with nothing because there were too many customers and nobody helped us down there anymore. I did get a B in Wall St though, and it's less crowded. And only one SA helped me there. 😉

Wow congratulation for the B! Did you purchase anything else besides B and did you ask directly for a B? I visited Madison 2 months ago and the SA that I used to know told me that nowadays its getting harder to get one unlike 2 years ago (she told me that). She did show me a mini berline in rose sakura though and I think she is telling me indirectly to buy other things first.

I did buy other things. I wasn't really looking to buy a B but she asked for my wishlist and was offering my DH a watch but he didn't like it; that's when we suspected we needed to buy more and she had something to offer us. But I bought stuff that I've really wanted to buy anyways so I didn't feel coerced. She was offering me a Lindy too but I didn't take it. But she didn't tell me that for me to get a B or a K I should establish a relationship with my home store (which I have). I hate when they do that. What I liked about WS was there aren't alot of people going there so the SAs really have time for each customer. I noticed in Madison the SAs were helping several customers at once, so it felt like if I don't buy what I'm being offered then they lose interest in me and move on to the next customer.
