He left about 2 weeks ago & believe me this is a great loss to Hermes..

Besides being the number one seller, he was just so delightful & charming
in addition to being a familiar face, it is sad for me to know he is not there
any longer.. 15 years is a very long time to have a SA...

Wow, yes! They do have new hires there. It's possible people will transfer from home & scarves to bags.

I don't know if that's true? I went on Saturday and was looking at silks and also wanted to look at a piece of jewelry I saw in their new catalog and my silks SA said he'd have to refer me to upstairs. Presume it's the same with downstairs where handbags are? Would be great of true.

I was told 2 weeks ago that Hermes prefers if Madison SA are "experts" in their area and not float around the store.

I really hope it's true bc I switched to Gregg so that I would not have to get a new bag SA yet AGAIN. I am too tired to be looking for my 6th SA since 2000 there.

6 😔 Lets hope the next SA you have stays w H for years.

That makes complete sense. I started my visit in handbags chatting with my SA and mentioned I would be looking at silks after. She didn't try to sell or show me any

I'm closest with my SA in jewelry, and she let me know quietly that she can go down and work with me in scarves—and, indeed, go throughout the house. This is best if I know what I'm wanting to see, or else the experts in each department will need to be brought in.

I was given the impression that Madison is very much changing up how SAs can work with their clients.

That was my understanding as well.. That SA's will now be able to
help their clients throughout the store..

H might try implementing this & see if it works & how it works out...

It may be challenging in the clothes department...

The SA that I work with gets it right the first go around & is exceptionally
knowledgeable with fit & sizing

Oh, I would LOVE it if this were true. I have a great SA in silks and I buy a lot from her, and have never gotten traction with any of the SAs in bags (which is probably my fault; I have purchased a few bags but always from different people - just never hit it off with any one SA). I would love to be able to work exclusively with the SA in silks - she is super nice.

I just learned today that Greg is no longer at the Madison store :( he got me my fist Birkin and I was hoping to go visit him in the next month or so. I can't believe he is no longer with the company! Any other SAs at the Madison store that you ladies recommend?

Many people miss Greg and are disappointed he left
The other SAs at the bag section like Cindy are still there but I think some ladies here have contacted Greg directly for his recos on SAs.
