He left about 2 weeks ago & believe me this is a great loss to Hermes..
Besides being the number one seller, he was just so delightful & charming
in addition to being a familiar face, it is sad for me to know he is not there
any longer.. 15 years is a very long time to have a SA...
According to my friend, SA's on the silks floor at Madison can also sell Birkin/Kelly bags now...
Is the silk floor the main floor where u walk in? That sells accessories?
Oh, when did that start? Seems easier for the clients. Maybe the sm or another associate gets credit, who knows? Either way that's better for us. [emoji5]️

I don't know if that's true? I went on Saturday and was looking at silks and also wanted to look at a piece of jewelry I saw in their new catalog and my silks SA said he'd have to refer me to upstairs. Presume it's the same with downstairs where handbags are? Would be great of true.
I really hope it's true bc I switched to Gregg so that I would not have to get a new bag SA yet AGAIN. I am too tired to be looking for my 6th SA since 2000 there.
I was told 2 weeks ago that Hermes prefers if Madison SA are "experts" in their area and not float around the store. silks.
I'm closest with my SA in jewelry, and she let me know quietly that she can go down and work with me in scarves—and, indeed, go throughout the house. This is best if I know what I'm wanting to see, or else the experts in each department will need to be brought in.
I was given the impression that Madison is very much changing up how SAs can work with their clients.
I just learned today that Greg is no longer at the Madison storehe got me my fist Birkin and I was hoping to go visit him in the next month or so. I can't believe he is no longer with the company! Any other SAs at the Madison store that you ladies recommend?
