I was told the same. I was at the Madison store (yesterday) and MP store (today) and was told there have been no bags since valentines and will possibly get a shipment next month.

I don’t recall these temporary bans on selling bags occurring pre-Covid but these temporary halts in selling have happened several times since the pandemic began. If I remember correctly old Madison didn’t even open on Sundays in December 2021 and actually closed for the last week of that year. It would have been unthinkable for any store to close for a week during the Holiday Season pre-Covid.

Thank you! Hard to say, my SA was originally in wall st I spent 4k non leather and 4.5k on leather there. Then she moved to Madison and there I spent about 15k on non leather over 5 months. So almost 2.5:1. But if it was just Madison purchases 1.5:1
Also interesting that my SA was surprised it was sellier as she brought the box. I guess she originally thought she put in for a retourne which I assume is “easier”
It’s not but unless your relationship is extraordinary, it will likely be impossible to get a KD and two quota bags in 2023 with the current state of Hermes supply and demand. Most good clients will be lucky to get even one bag this year.
Thank you! My SA just got back to me too confirming it's not a quota bag but almost same waiting time as a quota bag. She seems to be open to see if we can catch one around our next appointment in a few weeks though it doesn't feel like she's working on a quota bag for me soon (afterall, I got my second quota bag last year in early Dec then picked up my SO Pochette mid Dec). Perhaps another quota bag too soon but a KD is OK from that perspective.
Keep in mind a lot of SMs are of the mindset lately that if they give you the Kelly danse they will considered that as a quota like (not quota but basically they have taken care of you and now they will move on) so it will prolong you getting your quota wishlist fulfilled if that makes sense.
That is not to say that if you are a vip that you can’t easily get both, the rules go out the window for anyone dropping $50k in a visit.
I have been told getting a second quota bag in a year takes way more spending than first bag. Do you have any insight on this?
A friend of mine just texted me....she walked out of Mad with a Barenia Faubourg B30 (which I didn't even think was still around), so, bags are back for March. (And it was a friend who is a normal customer with a normal spend and not a VIP, so no comments *please* about "exceptions" or people being "special" 
)
