Does anyone have a good SA recommendation at Madison? I had a lovely SA i worked with for 5-6 years before she left late last year and have spent quite a bit with the brand (have 6 quota bags) - didn't even get an email bounceback or call to let me know she was gone until I called the store to check...we had a very straightforward relationship (she could tell me upfront what bags would be impossible / possible to get for me that season) and i realize that is rare / i may not find that again! (Mods please move if this is in the wrong chat, sorry!)

Depending on what you want, I believe the resale market is starting to soften re B30s and K28s. I shop both well priced heritage leather resale and boutique. I agree with @Gal4Dior in this respect

@bluekitty0914 , I agree with @Daydrmer. Also, I just wanted to say oftentimes the H SAs don’t have enough time (and aren’t given time) when they can sit down to respond. I’ve seen my own SA scrolling through the enormous amount of texts he receives in a day, and it’s mind boggling. Hermes seems to prefer that they prioritize their working hours with in person clients on the floor. So, I don’t necessarily take it personally if I don’t get a response, but I would suggest not going over specific lists via text with a new SA. Although I still text for appts, someone also told me that the way for clients with new SAs to make an appt is to contact the store concierge. Perhaps you will find a better fit that way too. If you can make an appt for a weekday, that might also give you some extra time to talk to your SA. Good luck
I walked into Madison last week with a friend who had never shopped there before. I knew my SA was off that day so I asked the concierge at the desk right by the entrance if any SAs were free to help us with scarves and he got us an SA right away. I didn’t recognize the SA so I think she was one of the new hires. She was very helpful. So for those who are looking for a new SA, asking the concierge to assign one to you seems like an efficient way to start. If you don’t like the SA assigned to you, you can try again on another visit. The concierge has a list of all SAs work schedules and appointments so if you are having difficulty getting an appointment with your current SA, you may be able to make an appointment via the Concierge.

hello, does anyone know how long it take for hermes warehouse to ship an item? I went into store and order an item in store to shipped to my home and it's been 1 week already. Usually with my old SA it only take 2-3 days and its here but my new sa is newer and I am afraid that the item would get delivered to wrong place or something went wrong. I usually get an email if the item is shipped and i didnt get an email so wondering...

Thanks so much again in advance!

When I buy something in store to be shipped, it's usually within 1-2 days max, unless something is being tailored. One week is an awfully long time, I would definitely check with your SA!

Also, if you sign up for a FedEx account, you will get notified of any packages being delivered to your address.

That is what I thought too! I never had such long time . I checked receipt and it was right address. I texted my Sa and he is checking... It just the box nothing special...

Does anyone know if the price increase has taken affect in the US for the year? I saw in Europe.

I got “the text” for a bag this week
It will be phased in the US, over the course of a couple of weeks starting from the first week of February. First is home goods, I believe, followed by fine jewelry, bags, and then shoes. I'm sad about it, but I guess it's inivetible.

Anyone knows how the service and stock for the non-QB is like for the Wall St location?

I am fairly new to Hermes and have been going to the Madison store since I live a few blocks away. I have very recently purchased a cashmere stole, silk scarf, and Roulis, all from different SAs (not by choice). Not sure if it is just me but I get the feeling that the SAs in Madison do not have much interest in taking in new customers. I am not looking to play the Hermes game (in terms of buying B/K/C). I am mostly looking for non-QB, scarves, fine jewelry, maybe RTW. I just want an SA to help make my shopping more efficient, and not having to go in constantly and hope for the best that the item is in stock.

I never connected to any SAs so far in the Madison store since their service has been lukewarm (at best). During my last visit, the SA was downright rude, judgmental, and condescending, and looked irritated to be serving me. Note that I always go in the morning, so the SAs are not even busy at the time. I have always been nothing but polite, patient, and low-maintenance and never had much issues in other stores or SAs outside of Hermes. Maybe it is me or just plain bad luck, but I am getting really frustrated with the Madison store. I am not sure if I should try one last time by making a appointment via the concierge (did not know this was possible until I read the post above) versus just walking in and asking for help from a random SA.

I am seriously considering switching to the Wall St location even though it is super inconvenient for me (and meatpacking is too out of the way) if they have better service there. Does anyone have good experiences at the Wall St location?

I have not personally had good experiences at Wall Street and their selection is very limited. Both times I've visited Meatpacking I have had an excellent experience. They do have very friendly SA's there compared to Wall Street. JMHO.

I agree with @nymeria.

There are excellent SAs at MP. I’m on the UES but go out of my way to MP because of their service and the people who make up the team, front and back.

MP might be smaller with limited inventory but if you’re paired with the right SA, you’ll find MP is worthy of loyalty.

I have yet to set foot at the new Madison location! No need  .
