I had a great time at AD today! Although I was planning on going lonewolf, my son convinced me to take him in tow. He's only 7, but he acted like such a gentleman. I was blown away by how interested he was in H. He even picked out a set of shoes, belt and scarf for me! SA had to order the scarf and ring for me, but below are the shoes he picked out. They had a nice selection of RTW, shoes, and as for the Evelyn I had in mind, SA will keep a look out for the next allotment. 🤩

Thanks for the tips! I went in with my list and the experience was much smoother!

He wanted them to bring in a children's line. Thanks for the good wishes!! 😁I do have a few questions about my experience that I've been struggling with. The SA told me to text her with my wishlist, but I haven't done so yet because I don't really know what that means beyond a general "bag list". I feel like it is still early and how will the SA know it is me on the other end? Do wishlists have more than one bag and can it include other items that are harder to get, like shoes, clothes, jewelry, etc?

Yes, wishlist can be anything. Make sure it's items you're willing to buy in case it shows up right away. Also, it'll show your SA you're a serious customer and won't waste their time. If it's easier, you can also wait until your next appointment to talk in person.

To help them remember you, you can text your SA with something that was distinct about you. For example in your case, you can text them how you and your son had a great time and you are looking forward to your next appointment. But don't be disappointed if you don't get a reply back. It's a hot topic on this forum and there are many good advices regarding it.

I feel like such a clueless newbie. 🙄Thank you a million times over for your guidance. I must have read a thousand TPF posts and countless videos, but I haven't found one that breaks everything down in a way I can understand. Let me check the website and put together a list. Maybe I can share it so I don't put something on there that's probably not a good purchase. Sometimes I buy something that winds up sitting the closet because it is uncomfortable or not a good design...

Glad to be of help. I know it could get pretty overwhelming with all the information. (I know I was!) Also with everyone’s different circumstances and experiences, it’s hard to give straight forward answers.

Just an extra tip. When you’re gather items from the site, there’s a product ref# towards the bottom. It’s extra info that’s helpful when your SA is trying to search the item. I know some people don’t believe in the extra leg work, but I know my SA appreciates it when I send the ref# with my inquiries.

The Hermes clubhouse threads have lots of info regarding fit, wear and experiences. It’s a great place to ask and gather information.

My SA responded to my text and let me know her schedule so I can set up my next appointment. 😃 She also mentioned that she's keeping an eye out for the evelyne (I did not ask). We have an appt next Saturday. For my short term wishlist, I would love a some day sneakers since I run around quite a bit after little boys. I also want to try some fun FJ in unqiue leathers and patterns since I have none. Any suggestions?

My HG is a B30, but I won't mention anything at this point because I dont really need it and will wait for her to raise purses after I secure the evelyne. I want to explore since I do not have much H experience. Everything I have purchased has been amazing quality.

BTW when I was at AD last week, a customer was examining what I think was a MK with her SA, but I only glanced at the MK because she had the most striking goyard de trunk bag and it paired perfectly with her outfit.🤣

Sounds like you and your SA made a good connection! That’s wonderful.

I don’t own any fashion jewelry from Hermes. But I tired on the Roulis double tour and thought it was very cute. There are couple of threads related to fashion jewelry so I’d suggest checking them out too.

lol! I do this too. I love seeing Hermes bags in the wild and the different styles. One time the store had so many customers carrying Birkins. It was a lot of fun to see it in so may different colors, sizes and leathers all at once.
