Hermes leather bracelets--worth it or not?

I had a Hapi in white before but too bad it's just sitting on its box (barely used) so I had to sell it. Now I have my CDC and 2 clic clacs that I love very much and wear almost everyday. My personal opinion CDC bracelet is not a rock and roll bracelet, you can wear it for dress up or down.
Anyway, I recommend you to go to H boutique to try some bracelets that you think you might like, because sometimes it's better to try it on in person rather than looking from the website and have no clue what its look be on you. Good luck.

H leather bracelets are definitely worth it! I wear mine constantly as do my DDs. They have their own clic clacs but borrow my CDCs all the time. They are in their 20's and LOVE them. I am working up to lala's collection. At this point, H bracelets are not an indulgence but a necessity!

Oh beyond worth it - I think I started out with leather bracelets with Balenciaga's triple tours, but ended up just wearing my Black CDC with GHW most of the time. Pair it with everything from t-shirt and jeans, to my work outfits.

I think it is a fabulous way to accessorize one's wardrobe because the different bracelet styles are unique and special to Hermes. I recently discovered a new leather bracelet style called the Astral cut which is a wide leather bangle with a cuff (not entirely closed) style. It's the bracelet at the bottom of the stack:

I find that ombre is extremely versatile and has a more modest price point compared to croc/gator bracelets. If you are not ready to jump straight to croc/gator but want something a little different than leather, I highly recommend any bracelet in the lizard family.

P.S. Hi VigeeLeBrun! Thanks for enabling me to grow my garden!

Wow, lala, this is an amazing collection!

I've made my fair share of mistakes when it comes to H bracelets. I'd bought and sold a Hapi and CdC (I love the look but it just doesn't look right on me - for now). The Horn bracelet kept sliding off because my wrist is tiny. Right now, I'm loving the Kelly Dog.

Thank you, birkingal! I know what you mean about bracelet sizing challenges for people with smaller wrists. I keep hoping that Hermes issues enamel bangle bracelets in a size 60 so they won't slide down to my thumb and interfere with my ability to type on my keyboard at work! The KDT, rivale and the Bernice are hard to find in an XS, but at least they come in an XS size unlike some of the other leather bracelets.

I agree, lala28. I love their enamel bracelets but there's no way I can ever wear them. Their PM size slide right off  I've found a KDT in XS but decided against it seeing that I'd just purchased a Kelly Dog. Like you, I'm hoping they'll downsize their enamel bracelets one day.

Here's my contribution: a leather cuff (sorry don't know the name) and an alligator. Sorry about the blurry shot: was worried my cat would knock them off the balcony!

Lala28, may I ask what is that gorgeous shawl pattern underneath those stunning bracelets!?!? Everything is so beautiful and I know I'll be obsessing over that shawl until I find out. Thanks so much!

Hi lala - Gladly will enable, and you are doing me a return favor. Your ombre collection is spectacular. You go girl!

What is the name of the bracelet at the very top of the stack? It forms an H and looks like it slides on.

Lala, your collection is stunning! I only hope I can work my way to your gorgeous pieces one day!

I definately think Hermes bracelets are worth it! They are one of my favorite things to look at and purchase when I'm at the boutiques. I started off with an enamel however soon realized that my wrist is too small for these. They clunked around and slipped off and while they are gorgeous they just don't work for me.

Then I went down the slippery slope to clic clacs, CDCs, rivales, and KDs.

I'm loving the new Cab bracelet that has just been released and am looking for the perfect color in an XS to add to my collection.

For inspiration: here is my daily stack which includes a rivale and clic clac.

Good luck, OP! I hope you find the perfect H bracelet for you but be warned, they are very addicting!
