Hermes leather bracelets--worth it or not?

I think it is a fabulous way to accessorize one's wardrobe because the different bracelet styles are unique and special to Hermes. I recently discovered a new leather bracelet style called the Astral cut which is a wide leather bangle with a cuff (not entirely closed) style. It's the bracelet at the bottom of the stack:

I find that ombre is extremely versatile and has a more modest price point compared to croc/gator bracelets. If you are not ready to jump straight to croc/gator but want something a little different than leather, I highly recommend any bracelet in the lizard family.

P.S. Hi VigeeLeBrun! Thanks for enabling me to grow my garden!

hi lala can i ask you about the bracelet/cuff on the top - the Ano? do you know if it only comes in one size, and do you find that you have trouble keeping it on? does it come off easily/accidentally? does it look OK on small wrists? for reference i need an XS in the KDT. thank you!!!

and to answer the question... for me it is totally worth it! i initially thought CDCs were "too much" for me, but when i tried them on in real life, it was seriously love at first wear, and i am now OBSESSED. i prefer mine in the exotic skins though... i'm also now looking at different types of bracelets, enamels, etc... wanna be able to build and wear gorgeous stacks like some of these fashionable ladies on here!

The Ano cuff is a flex cuff so it fits directly up against your arm regardless of how small or big your wrist is and doesn't fall off. It only comes in one size because it is flexible. The only Ano cuffs I've seen are ombre lizard, and then a couple of regular leather choices. It also doesn't move up and down your arm because it is flexible. Hope this helps!

I agree, lala28. I love their enamel bracelets but there's no way I can ever wear them. Their PM size slide right off  I've found a KDT in XS but decided against it seeing that I'd just purchased a Kelly Dog. Like you, I'm hoping they'll downsize their enamel bracelets one day.

Hi bikingal, i have an ultra small wrist too but heck it.. this is how i wear my kdt and enamel... i push them right up my forearm :p so they are stuck in the mid of my forearm....:D

Worth it?

I think so. I have a Hapi3 and a KDT (in chocolate brown with silver hardware). The KDT is my favorite bracelet, I wear it all the time and always get compliments on it. It is pricey for being just a little strip of leather, but I think it's worth it because it's a very unique bracelet.
