Hermes Kelly Wallet TO-GO

I'm not the owner of the 'To Go,' but as the owner of the C-Elan, I can easily say that the H clasp gets scratched. However, it's not a big issue, especially when the 'To Go' clasp is smaller.

I'm not sure about its use as a wallet, but I think it would look stylish as an evening bag.

Thank you for the input! I should say I’m fine with normal wear and tear scratches, I’m not overly concerned with keeping things pristine. I just don’t want it to be destroyed from getting bumped around in a bag with other things.

Am thinking of getting either the Kelly or Constance To Go wallets to pull double duty: 1) serve as my daily wallet in my work tote and 2) be a spur of the moment hands-free bag for impromptu happy hours, lunches, running errands, etc. I’ll see if I can compare them in person next time I visit my boutique but curious if there’s any wisdom on this forum on the following:

-Hardware: I’d be worried with the Constance that the prominent hardware would get massively scratched floating in my bag. With the Kelly, I’d be worried the turnlock could damage other items in my bag and/or maybe get bent itself. Sometimes that tote gets stuffed
-Size: are either of them too big to be a daily wallet to fit into bags? I’ve researched the differing inside capacities and I think either will be fine for my needs (phone, keys, cards)

Appreciate anyone willing to share their experiences!

I have a KTG which I often use for this purpose. I've never had a problem with the turnlock damaging other items in my tote or other larger bag.

I purchased my very first Hermes bag this week - a Kelly To Go.

Granted this is a small leather good by Hermes’ classification but I’m very disappointed it didn’t come with a dust bag. How are people storing their To Go pieces? I don’t really want to have to take it out of the box every time I wish to use it.

I got a dust bag with mine. Strange you didn't get one. If you go back to the boutique, ask if they could give you one.

You should double check with the store… it sounds very odd that it doesn’t come with a dust bag.

My CTG didn’t come with one. They typically don’t unless you ask. They should have extra shoe dust bag

Exactly right. They are wallets and wallets don't come with dustbags. I would actually be concerned if I bought one that DID come with one.

That's a bit weird. Mine came with one. Definitely ask your SA about that as the KTG is not a cheap SLG.

Now that I think of it, my KTG did not come with a dust bag, my CTG from the same store did have a dust bag, and then my second CTG from a different store did not. 🤔 Weird
