Hi all,
I snapped up a KTG in the color combo I have been looking for from a consignment store as it was about 25% less than current retail and marked to be like new. However, I just noticed what looks like a cut in the Epsom leather and I'm wondering of it would be better for me to return it and wait for a store fresh one? I have been looking for 2 years for white Epsom with phw...

Would it bother you guys? Can it be fixed? Do you think it's worth it for the discount? Does anyone have some similar damage and does it cause any problems?

Someone in a stock room used a box knife and cut the leather. It wouldn’t be financially feasible to get it repaired. I’d be returning it as the cut may grow over time.

Yes this would definitely bother me if it was not disclosed in the description or in pictures. Epsom is pretty resilient but this is a cut. I have some very old Epsom wallets that are softer and roughed up from 15 yrs of use! But no scratches or cuts like this.

Thank you all for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that everyone agrees - I thought that perhaps I was making a big deal out of something small. I have requested a return.

On another note, does anyone have a MK and a KTG? If so, do you find these two items to be a bit redundant or totally different? I heard that they fit about the same amount and I have an MK SO in the works but I still would like to add a KTG or CTG as something small for the day that I can chuck into another bag when needed.

I have both. I havent used my ktg since ive gotten my MK.

Yes I do.

With KTG, I have to remove my cards and put them in the card slots. With MK, I dont need to do this and it can fit my whole cardholder. I have an iphone 14 pro and if I put it inside the KTG, with cards on the slots, I can’t fit much anymore on the other side of the wallet because it will be hard to close or it will be stretching the leather too much so I still end up holding my phone. Given this scenario, my MK holds more than the KTG. I’ll try to post comparison pics tom.

They are totally different. Good to have both.
