I've started my H journey 3 months ago and have spent a bit over 30k (excluding non quota bags and SLGs) ..is my prespend good enough for ask for a B25 or K25/K28? Or am I expected to spend more? Not sure what's the expected spend ratio is..my home store is in Vancouver..
I’m pretty sure that is enough. Have you expressed your wish list to your SA yet? I think due to low inventory overall certain combos may be harder to get. I would just slow down on the spending at this point.

I have a B30 on my wishlist as I've heard its easier to come by and was hoping to get an offer on my wedding anniversary last week..but instead I was offered a Constance to go..lol... I haven't tried on a B30 before until last week and have found its a bit too big to my liking so I'm hoping to update my wishlist - and just not sure if I should since the wait seems to be even longer than a B30 and I'm not sure if I've spend enough

Ahh I see. Congrats on your anniversary! I’m sorry to hear the offer was a to go  yes b30 and k28 will be easier to come by since all the smaller sizes b25/k25 are very high in demand. I’m from the YYC store but did hear that YVR has a higher competition but I would think your prespend would be more than enough. B25s are easier than k25s. I would just drop hints to your SAs to see how inventory is coming along and whether a bag would be possible for this year and whether it’s possible to get a b25 instead because you’ve tried a b30 and it was too big for your liking. When I first started my journey my SA told me they didn’t offer to clients that have shopped less than 6 months - I’m not sure how true this is, and if yes it probably one of those things that apply only to Canada. I got my b25 after spending slightly over 1:1 on my 8th month with my SA.

Thank you so much for the warm wishes and information! I heard it's very competitive in Canada, especially in Vancouver, so I thought maybe I haven't spent enough for an offer.. Lol.. But maybe you are right about being a long termed customer before getting an offer coz someone mentioned her SA hinted that she has to visit a set number of times before she would be eligible to for a bag offer.. Maybe I just have to wait until I've passed the "probation period" I will check with my SA about inventory status next time. I visit. As I'm new to Hermès, I'm wondering how does the quota bag request work - for example, does an SA submit a quota bag request to the store manager once the client reaches a certain prespend and then when a bag that matches the wishlist is available, she'll offer the quota bag to the client? Or do they submit the request only when there's inventory that matches the wishlist? I've heard each SA only gets allocated a certain number of bag(s) each time a shipment arrives so she may not even get many bags to offer in a year..

I think each SA kind of does it slightly differently? But it all comes down to SM approval at the end of the day. How my SA explained it to me was my “profile” aka my prespend had to be strong enough for her to submit the quota bag request. And if she thinks it’s ready, then will she ask me what bags I was after because to her, there’s no point asking beforehand if my profile wasn’t ready anyways? So I’ve never given her a wish list nor has she asked for mine ever and I’m waiting patiently for my bag offer for this year though and I’ve spent enough. Even so she’s always told me to give her a general list rather than a specific colour + hw combo, but I’ve heard differently so I think it depends on the SA. I’m just kind of slowing down my spend and checking in maybe every 1.5-2 months now as seeing how stock is going I may not even get a bag this year

I think SA rotates on which quotas they get allotted each time and/or each SA also has to fight for bags for their clients. Such as if only 1 gold with ghw b30 comes in and 3 SA has clients each wanting it. Then the SAs have to present to SM their clients case and SM decides? I’ve heard a few things though so other experience TPFers please chime in if I’m wrong or have more info.

Unfortunately It’s really just a waiting game and there’s no rushing it especially in Canada.

Thank you for your insight! I guess each SA does things differently coz my SA asked for specific combos of what I would like to be put on my wishlist and she added it on her phone during my 2nd visit...I guess everyone is waiting on their bag offer as I've heard we are behind and there are people still waiting over a year .. On another note, someone asked a question on another forum I'm curious to know about as well, if we purchase bags from Hermes.com from another country (such as US/Europe/Asia), does it show up on our Canadian profile? My friends from US have been lucky in scoring bags from the website so I'm wondering if I should stalk the US website while I wait but I'm also worried that it'll jeopardize my quota bag offer

Has anyone gotten any quota bag offers recently? If yes, how long have you waited for and what was you spend ratio? Curious to know if spend ratio makes any difference in the timing of getting an offer

In Van, it is partly to do with your spend ratio (1:1 minimum) but also the number of clients your SA has; the fewer the clients, the easier (and obviously quicker) it'll be to get offered a bag. For me, once I reach 1:1 spend, I wait it out. Sooner or later, I end up being offered something that I've requested. It boils down to patience and not overspending too much!

Hi! I'm brand new to the Hermes scene and wondering how likely it is to buy a Picotin 18 at the Vancouver store with no purchase history? I've been hearing that they're relatively harder to get nowadays, so I'm curious to know what I should be doing to get one? Thanks!

May I ask about how long you have waited for the offer after reaching 1:1? And did you continue to buy little things while you were waiting?

Reached quota earlier this year, and tho I did buy the odd thing here and there afterward, I was offered a b25 in the specs I asked for about mid-year. I know that they are offering bags because a friend of mine also received her QB (b30) last month. As you are probably aware, the artisans are on holidays for the summer so you may want to wait til next month when production ramps up and therefore greater availablity) to remind your SA that you are waiting. Good luck and let us know when you score your dream bag!

Thank you so much and congrats on your B25! I will definitely keep you posted when I get my offer! ❤️

I am wondering if anyone know if it's difficult to get a Lindy 26 (gold or etoupe) from the Vancouver store?

I just recently started my journey with Hermès and I have asked twice but so far still no stock... not sure if it's that difficult to get since. Thanks!!

May I ask what your specs are for you b25 please? I'm also waiting for a b25 and I've also reached 1:1 few months ago. Thanks!
