I heard that they stopped providing this service since last year (possibly due to pandemic). I tried to ask sa if they could help to order/transfer from another store or from Europe late last year. It didn't seem like they offered this service at that moment. It'd good to know the world wide search is available again now. Could someone please kindly confirm? Thanks a lot.

Hey, I have had no issues getting SA to do a world wide search. I’m still waiting for items for arrive and i ordered a pair of shoes in a specific colour as well. However due to Covid, items from over seas take a few months so just gotta be patient. You should ask your SA and shouldn’t be a problem.

Thanks ally for the information. It's exciting to know that the world wide search is back now.
May I ask if you know they will provide this service for scarf as well or just rtw? Thanks again

Just wondering if anyone else is finding it really hard to obtain appointments these days? Lately I have thinking that high $ spending clients may be prioritized which does make sense for the business but as a long time loyal client I am only able to get an appointment after asking several times and it takes 1.5 months! It also has taken days or even a week or two to receive an email response to item requests.

I haven’t had any issues. I visited last week and my SA arranged it a week prior. She was the one who reached out to advise that items I wanted arrived.

I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. One of the SAs did mention that they have been getting many emails and phone calls for booking appointments.

i have no issues with the appointments either. I usually get it the same week. I mostly text my SA rather than emails. It’s much easier communication.

I thought I was no longer interested in the Lindy 26/30 and Garden Party 36, but the Lindy came back to my mind again.

I was at the store the other day, the SA showed me the only GP 36 she had in the store. I wanted a darker colour (ideally black), so I didn’t buy the one I saw. The SA said they may have more coming in a few weeks. Is it normal to wait for weeks for a GP?

I thought waiting is for BKC, which I am not interested in them anyway.

Does anyone know the current price of Lindy 26 and 30? Can you get a Lindy from the store? Or, you got to wait too?

All leather goods, in fact...all good, can take some time to come in, based on production. Also, whether the particular store has placed an order in for that particular item already. Sometimes, you can make requests or your SA may offer to source items for you from other stores (less so now during Covid). But, these services are still done.

Although the GP bags (just like Picotin, Evelyn, Lindy...etc.) are not "Quota bags" per se, they are still leather goods that take the ateliers time to produce. Meaning, they will come in during different times during the year, month, weeks and so on and so forth.

In your case, what may have happened is the particular colour for the GP is not available in the store (i.e., present in the store) for sale to you readily. While it is not a quota, they just don't have the bag in stock. Your SA has already luckily notified you that more are expected to come, so you should be notified by your SA once they come in and are available for purchase (in the combo that you'd like).

For example, last year I wanted a picotin (small size, neutral colour combo w/ ghw), and luckily for me, there just happened to be a shipment of picotins. I got to pick whichever one I wanted. I just wanted neutral colours, so my SA put the neutral ones aside for me to choose when I booked my appt to go into the store. No wait time, whatsoever.

Thanks for the details. I am in no rush. It’s going to come when it’s the right time. I like to buy bags when I travel, but of course, this didn’t happen since the pandemic.

I've asked my SA for her number at least three times and she advised that they were not allowed to give them out as it's store policy? However, I know at least two other people that have their SA's telephone numbers. Would someone be able to provide some insight on this please? Thanks.

that’s very odd, my SA at Vancouver stores texts me after hours as well. I find it strange she doesn’t wanna give the number to you.

She'll email me after hours but would not provide her number. I know another client of hers and she told the client the same thing regarding not being allowed to provide her telephone number.
