I met an amazing SA and just recently started my "Hermes journey" my first purchase was the chypre sandals, and the SA that helped me out was super nice and friendly and we got along very well. Fast forward to last weekend, I made an appointment with her and I bought a couple of things including RTW, shoes, SLG, and a Twillie. At the cashier, we talked about her family and kids and it was great, then out of the blue she says something along the lines of "see what happens if you come in more frequently, if you continue to do this I'll be able to get you a Birkin or Kelly this year" (keep note that I had never mentioned wanting a quota bag, maybe only briefly mentioned a lindy).

Is this a good sign or do SA's just say this to every other client (I just don't want to get my hopes up)
I take this as a suggestion to come in often and keep spending a lot. You should do what you can reasonably afford and makes you happy esp if you want more than one QB.

I agree and I hope to not ruffle any feathers but something like that would rub me the wrong way :( shocked it was brought up like that especially with the lawsuit. I’m sure it was said in a joking/playful way and definitely it means that the SA seems to have a great relationship with you if they’re open and transparent like that but stylistically if it were me I would be slightly irritated by that statement

I think it's a new thing that they say now to gauge if you are only there for the BKC or here for the long run. That's how they get us to visit more frequently. Just go at your own pace & purchase items that you like. As @texas87 said, the bag offer will come.

Yes, I'm thinking of going a lot more during the summer since the weather has been really nice! I just got the black and white Chypre's, I'm lucky I have pretty small feet so stock isn't too bad for my size :graucho:

Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but I've actually been eyeing the go mules. What are your thoughts on them? I love how casual they look and comfy too!
Nice chypres! I have them in black. Also asked my SA in Toronto about Beige Mastic, but she said Toronto boutique hasn't got any of those in a while as its a previous season's colour. Yes, I find that Toronto will either have super small or super large sizes in stock.

I think the Go Mules look very similar to the Birkenstock Boston Clogs. I've seen them on display at Toronto and thought they are vert stylish and chic! I believe they share the same calfskin insole and rubber outer sole as the Chypre sandals.

I wonder if it was my SA! I was in last week with my friend and our SA was gone. We were assigned a new one, who is actually lovely (and seems way more helpful - so we actually lucked out!). I think I also owe you photos of my Day Sneakers! The last month has been wild (illnesses and lots of work, as well as yucky weather!). I will upload as soon as I wear them next .
Yes, it probably was your SA unfortunately. He was actually my friend's SA as well, and he was soooo nice and kind. So sad to see that he was let go. Glad you found a great replacement SA tho, sounds like you are already kicking it off with him/her!

I agree! I think the Go Mules look super similar to the Birkenstock Bostons. I have the Bostons and my partner hates them and he thinks they're really ugly. But maybe he would hate them less if they were Hermes! haha

Toronto boutique has quite a few colours for the Go Mules in stock. Perhaps he would change his mind if he got a pair, super comfy! LOL 🤣

I would be actually a little cautions with this SA until you know them better. Someone’s statement that frequent visits may lead to an offer to me imply relatively high spend expectations.

As a joke, I bought him a pair of the Birks Bostons for a Christmas gift a few years ago. He looked like a dog wearing boots for the first time and walking around uncomfortably when he tried them on hahaha. Maybe I'll point them out to him the next time we're at the Toronto boutique to see his thoughts. I'm happy to know they're comfortable! Do you happen to remember what colours our Toronto store has?

LOL, that's so funny! He'd probably run out of the boutique if you even step foot near the Go Mules 😂. I can't remember if they are still on display at the Toronto boutique, but you can ask your SA what colour options are available. I recall seeing the dark blue suede option, called bleu celeste.

Hi all  wanted your thoughts, I was in the store recently and my SA started offering me items in pretty much every dept - for example, silk; that loofah looking silk pouch (not for me) , SLG; bastias, Home; passifolia plates (I collect mosaique/ h deco) , pretty much many items that I’m not interested in or would suit my taste. It’s the first time I felt my SA being quite “salesy”

Is she hinting that I need to up my spending (I’m over 1:1 ratio YTD) or perhaps low on her sales goals for the month? Not sure how to interpret it ..
maybe we have the sale SA. I went into last week for something specific and as we walked along, she was like do u want to take a look at that silk pouch, lipstick, this and that? i just said no lol...at the end she was like keeping waiting for ur QB.....

I hope your SA didn't say "keep waiting for your quota bag" in the way I think she did... did she?
