Has anyone used Heathrow personal shoppers for shopping the evening before departure out of LHR? Is this allowed?! For example in the situation where one is arriving at LHR and stopping over at LHR hotel for evening and departing the following day? It would seem personal shopper might be a way to clear security the evening before, assuming LHR security would not let you in with a boarding pass for a flight the next day. Or will they let me into Terminal 5 on say Wed night if my boarding pass isnt until Thurs AM? Thanks in advance.

I don't have exact answers but I assuming a no...
The personal shopper ambassador doesn't have the power to clear security that's for sure. They can escort you to the shops within the airside though....
You MIGHT be able to go in with a boarding pass for the next day but the main problem is about leaving the airport!!!!!
My experience about leaving the airport after you get through to airside is that you will need to wait for ages for Customs to come get you at airside and escort you to Customs and then back to Arrivals and surely that is not what the ambassador can help you with. Let alone to explain to the Customs why you are here in the airport and why you are going into London (where you will need to complete a landing card if you don't hold an EU passport)

And you won't be able to enjoy the tax-free price as you are to re-enter the UK....

And it certainly creates more problems when the next day you need to scan your boarding pass again and get through again....

What I would say to safely shop within Heathrow if you are desperate is that you might try to arrange a section after you land to be escorted back to departures before you get to Customs (which is usually available for connecting flight passengers within the same day, follow the purple sign to flight connection and call the ambassador and don't get through Customs!!!) or try going in as early as possible before your flight the next day.

For non-leather items, you can email them your wish lists and they can reserve items for you but you can't reserve any bags at all

If you manage to get through the evening before and be out and then get in again the next morning, please kindly share your experience as I personally would like to have another chance to shop though I don't really think they allow it....

Thank you for your reply and for outlining the tricky parts I didnt consider, like immigration! I may try to find out if they can pick me up on arrival and if I am allowed to stay within the airport before going through immigration. On the other hand, I could just get there early the next day. Thanks again for your thoughtful response!

I was just recently at LAX and asked for. C. So they have C at lax for sure. Several I might add! But you have to buy other items for example watches or jewelries in the same amount as the bag. I think the SA also mentioned they might get K but there were none that day. Hth :)

So.. to get a constance, one will have to buy other items in the same amt as the bag?

Good to know! I was told "not at this boutique" when there in April. Glad to know things have changed.
