darling constance used to be very hard to come by in us a few years ago // i heard it has gotten better in nyc now
and impossible still in asia
i wish i had known this - there is a reunion in paris that i could have planned to attend in june
alas

I don't know if your are still on the hunt for a constance, but if so: skip Munich. Everytime I was there customers came in and asked and the answer was always the same: "Sorry, no Birkin, no Kelly, no Constance". I'm thinking about changing from Munich to MUC Airport Hermès as I am sort of fed up with the attitude of Munich to regular customers. If so (that would include bying a flightticket as the Hermès is in the security zone) I'd be happy to ask for you.

Has anyone been to the Hermes Duty Free shop at Milan's airport (MXP) recently? How's the stock there?

Really bad, never seen any bags even close to interesting there. And the price even though is detax but it's more expensive then getting them from the city and do the detax, only a rough 8% detax.

Hk airport

31cm herbag poppy orange
PM Evelyn etoupe
31cm Bolide (brown color)
30 Lindy (forgot color)
Quatre-colored double sens!

Do they have a good inventory in there regarding bags/ leather goods? I was just browsing and spotted a nice Blue Egee with SHW there yesterday but did not inquire for anything special. Maybe I should have!!

Dear Kelly H, the last time I was there (which was before you were) they had a pretty good inventory regarding bags, but frankly spoken I had no closer look at them as I am in scarfs only. Actually I am agonizing over how to get into the security area without a flight ticket.......... last times I did it with using a flight ticket- brought me to Stockholm, Milan, Rome, Oslo and Prague in the last few weeks but won't be an option for the rest of my live... Living in cycling distance (!) from the airport away and beeing frustrated to the max with Hermès Munich, I urgently want to change stores and this would be perfect. So, in case anybody knows how to do the trick to get into the security zone or if I am happy persuading them to give me a security ticket (you have to havev a good reason and I doubt that " there is an Hermès boutique I need to visit" will count), I'll head over and come back to you with detailed informations about SLG and bags.

Till that moment, please keep your fingers crossed or give me hints how to do the magic;)

Millivanilli, wow that is true dedication! But I'm afraid you need a boarding pass to buy anything :( so even if you can get in, you cannot buy. Must be a very frustrating situation for you. I really hope you can either travel often enough or find a decent SA :girlsigh:

Dear Kelly,

after driving really everybody mad at the airport we found a method, hoooray!

Has probably something to do with the fact that inhibitants of my city are treated with kid gloves from the airport :D So, thanks to my green-biological-ecofriendly-don't toucht the nature-do not build the airport -no second runway- noooo not a third runway REALLY NOT!-get out of the nature-buddies ;)

* Obviously, I wasn't one of them, btw.

Wife was at YVR (Vancouver) Hermes Duty Free and she found a pair of boots that she was looking. And when the SA asked if there's anything else she'd be interested, she said "a Rodeo, but it's almost impossible to get one" and the SA told her "oh... that's indeed a rare item... but let me check..." she went to the back for a few minutes, and came out with an orange box still wrapped in plastic and said to my wife "it's the only one we received this summer so far... I guess it's meant to be"

And there she handed it to my wife, a PM Rodeo in Rouge Indien... Sadly for me, that's another $505 that's going to show up on my CC bill next month.

As of yesterday, the Hermès duty free boutique in Terminal 3 of the Rome airport had a small orange & pink Rodeo charm.

Also a beautiful Terre Battue Evelyne and the 24 mm ombré lizard H belt buckle.

Millivanilli, I'm so glad you found a way! Have you been to Munich airport lately? Seen anything interesting? :coolio: I'm going on Friday, any inventory you want me to check out for you? :)
