How often do you go in the store? So that means there is no truth in the fact that our 'home' store will service locals? 3 years is a long time! It seems we have to play the game even here too!

Who gets the Bs and Ks then? Impossible that they haven't gotten to you in 3 years!

Yes I did. I'm trying to wrap my head around how the store works though. Like how do they decide? And do you have to go through another 'round' to be offered a new one? The politics of it all!

Forgive me as my family is from there and it seems that unless things have changed ( and they might have), it's very hard to get a super luxury item unless you're super rich or super corrupt! However, it may be that things have changed and they will offer a B or K to people who are good customers who come in often and have purchased things in the past. If you have a good SA, I'm sure she will look out for you. The fact that she actually called you and that it was still available the second time you went to look at it is a good sign. :)

oh so sorry to assume it was me (duh). I didn't know babymama got a colvert kelly. Wow to have it held that long (assuming she was the one who declined then the SA was busy and asked her again.)!!! lucky her!!

i think my SA doesn't have enough clout or i don't buy enough from him. whatever it is i've gone to the reseller route or buy from friends.

Imho there are amazing things you can only find here if you are really on the lookout. The store's under the mercy of H headquarters and they do get their limits unfortunately :( If I had to wait 2 years from France (and still waiting) I would imagine the wait here would be more. Maybe x2. As everyone is saying, getting a good SA is important.

The Philippines is experiencing a boom with a good credit rating score, and very promising investments worldwide so I'm thinking more H pocket money lying around and more wealthy willing to spend their money. Hey, Hermes bags are good investments aren't they? ;)

Also, the store does credit card installments so it's better to purchase items now?

I think the trickier part would be getting a K or B in a color/combination that you really really like. I don't really buy much in Manila as it is way cheaper in Eu but have been offered a couple of nice things (including maybe one or two Ks but passed on both as they were not what I was looking for and for the price?) all I get here are scarves and perfume. My relatives have also been quite lucky at the store but then they were not really put in the list I think. They just got offered whatever was available at that time. The one thing I am looking for is never available though. (Gold/white Orans in 34 - if that size even exists - or 35) good luck on your search :)

Thanks for posting jalapeno, your post tells me that the headquarters somehow are good to us/ still favours our home turf to give 2 kellys! :)
