I tell you it is very hard to get this color. I wanted it at first and placed an order for so long. Instead I was offered a Gold Togo in silver hardware by my SA after my long wait. I did not expect it is as divine, or even more, in actuality as my original choice. So it is always best to place an order and be ready to take whatever is available when your SA tells you they have one but in another color. You just have to check it out it might turn out a better choice, a classic. Just like what happened to me. Good luck!

Hi there, I'm not sure if this thread is still alive but I was wondering what my chances of getting a Birkin in Manila are? I'm visiting from Aus later this year. Can I go on the Manila waiting list even if I'm not from the country? I think it might be shorter than in Melbourne.If it helps at all, I do have family living there. Thanks!
Hello there liss29, your chances of getting a birkin in manila is, i must say, very very slim. Hate to break it to you but it is what it is. If by some luck, they do get some Bs or Ks, it still can not accomodate everyone on the waitlist. Of course you can be on the list but be ready for a 2 year wait or maybe a bit longer.

You just have to try your luck in diff hermes store if they have birkin on display and they will sell it to you ryt away, its just what they display s wht you have to choose.

Hi ladies! I am moving from the US to Manila later this summer- are prices significantly higher or lower in the Philippines? I have my eye on a couple little items and want to know if I should buy here in the States or after I move.

as with any H store, it's important to establish a relationship with an SA. all of them are pretty nice. I havent yet gotten a B or K there myself. I only go there twice a year. Stocks are dismal everytime i'm there though.
my sil has bought an orange lindy 30 there a couple of years ago and just recently a jypsiere 31 bleu izmir.
I also have reserved several silks when i get there next week.
As a side note, i havent bought any Bs or Ks in an H store since i scored my kelly in capri in 2009 & a choc b30 phw n NYC. I've acquired other H bags elsewhere tho. So i have this kelly dry spell for years already. Almost ready to plunge the reseller route out of desperation. their mark ups are ridiculously high. But i can't stand the wait any longer!!!

Agree that the "easiest" way is for you need to build a relationship with an SA. I found myself a good SA there and barely two weeks after my first purchase (and 3rd time in the store), I got offered a SO Kelly.
