I would go ahead and ask for a copy of the receipt, I think they might be able to help. They have very nice staff there and should have copies of sales...this is their contact information:

Bijenkorf Dam 1, Amsterdam - +31 (0) 88 2459176

Thank you.
Do you happen to know any name of the staff working there.

I totally forget the names. I remember there were two persons assisting me. One nice young lady, and one is a man.

I do know several of the staff working there - there are 3-4 men and 2 ladies that I know of. I only know the names of the male SAs, as they are the ones I primarily deal with on a regular basis. Still, as I am assuming you are not a regular customer (correct me if I'm wrong), I don't think the names of SAs will help but they can possibly look up transactions and are friendly enough that they would likely help you with this. Certainly if you were a one time customer, unless you purchased a major amount or a particularly rare bag, they may not recall you because of the major traffic that location gets. What would be more important than who helped you would be the exact date/time/amt of your transaction and that you can easily get from your credit card statement/company.

Thx Julian

Tried to call them but still unable to get through. Will try again sometimes later

Thank you

Dear tPF members,

Does any know much about the H boutiques in Amsterdam?
I'll be going to Rotterdam next week, would like to have a day trip to Amsterdam to visit the H boutiques. Wonder if they have much variety of bags? Do you think it will easy to score a birkin/kelly there?

Thank you.:smile1:

Hi :)

Amsterdam has only 1 H boutique and that is in 97 Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat (sometimes abbreviated to PC Hoofstraat). They do however have a concession within Bijenkorf department store and the address for that is Dam, 1012 JS Amsterdam. They do get new weekly stock into the boutique every Tuesday but they wouldn't know what they're getting until it gets there. When I was there last October, I was looking for a Lindy and got one but that is because I was calling them everyweek just to see what they've got on the shelves. Try doing that because a) you'll make yourself familiar with the staff and the staff with you and b) you'll know what is in the store!

Good luck!

Thank you so much :) It is a good idea to call to check their stock and also familiarise with the SA. I'll just give them a call later today. And congratulation for scoring the Lindy!
Will let you know if i manage to get something nice :)

Hi I was wondering how easy it was to get a birkin from the Amsterdam PC store? Do they have a waiting list??

Thanks xx
Hi..

I went there in 2 months ago and the stock was low. No lindy, no b or k, mostly evelynns. The SA say that b or k are for locals and the don't offer it to tourists but not sure about waiting list. Good luck anyway :)

Hi guys

Thanks for the info, my bf is dutch and he is lives just off the PC! so i'm trying to get him to get on the waiting list for me ....... hopefully his charm will appeal to the SAs! I go there every 2 weeks so I can always keep popping in, I will become a LOCAL to this store if needs be!

That was lucky! which one did you get? I'm looking for my first one and I just want a classic 35 in togo, colour wise gold and orange are my top picks! Thanks, what was the SA called do you know? my bf is dutch and he lives of the PC, so he's new job is to be best friends with this SA!!! Enjoy the birkin, very jealous ..... and the tax rebate, I wont get one because I'm from the UK :( ahh well!!

Hi, my husband managed to get me a Birkin last week in Amsterdam. I think it was sheer luck that some regular did not pick up the order.
Very nice and friendly staff too.
Good luck!

If you want anything besides Birkins and Kellys, you might also keep an eye on the Hermes at the Amsterdam airport. It is fairly big for an airport store and the SAs are very friendly. They routinely seem to have Lindys, Bolides and many of the other bags. I picked up a lovely candy Kelly long wallet there at Christmas time.
