I am going to be in Amsterdam in may, I have a whole day to spare between the flights, I was wondering if anyone know how far the store is from the airport? :) thank you !! I would love to pick up a gift for myself:)

I don't think there is one at the airport yet; there have been rumors that one will open there, but I'm not sure when).

If you have a whole day to spare it's quite easy to take a train from the airport to the centre of Amsterdam (about 15 min. train ride). The train station is in the same building as the airport so no hassle at all.
There is one small H store in the 'Bijenkorf' (;which is a department store). It's a 5 min. walk from Central station, or you can take a tram (nr. 2 or 5, about 15 min. ride) or taxi to the P.C. Hooftstraat where the bigger H store is. Have fun!

The staff at both stores are lovely.

Bijenkorf Hermes is relatively new but do ask for whichever items you wish as not all will be displayed.

P.C. hoofstraat store is along major brands all off the same street next to Vondelpark. After shopping, it will be nice to sit in one of the cafes along the street and enjoy a nice cup of tea/coffee!

I have only seen once a birkin on display as most of spoken for by customers.

I JUST got back from Amsterdam!! i went to both stores and the store at the airport is about to OPEN!! yaaaaay, there is a big orange construction box around it right now, but it should be opening very soon! how awesome is that?

there wasnt much in the stores though, hardly anything actually...i got myself an iphone4 cover in etoupe, wanted Dogon wallet but they only had it in croc and brown:( i wanted some happy bright colour! oh well, next time
i fell in love with Amsterdam!

I am going to Amsterdam this coming 29th May..can anyone recommend any good SA there? I am hoping to get a birkin/kelly there... Does anyone has ever got any in Amsterdam? Thank you :)

Yes, you are true Liberté, the SAs are very nice indeed... They didnt have much in stock though, so i ended up buying a scarf and it was perfect! The one in Bijenkorf is much more smaller and have less stock since it is a busy tourist area. I think it'll be easier to get a B/K in the PCH store.

Hey all,

Could you please help me getting an orange birkin from Amsterdam? Let me know when you see or hear about it and I will get on it. I recently bought it from a reseller but had to return it as I found a small leather crack. I'll take you on a fab dinner! :love:

Hi.

I bought a lindy in bikenjorf dam store and my last port was London.

The queue was so long. So the girl at the tax refund was suggesting that we choose refund by cc and she'll collect the refund slip and help us submitted it

Problem is she didn't take the receipt and I got a letter from global blue. Asking for the receipt. I think I've misplaced it. Any contact oh the bijenkorf dam Hermes?

Can i ask for copy receipt and submit it to global blue? Any advice?
