That was lucky! which one did you get? I'm looking for my first one and I just want a classic 35 in togo, colour wise gold and orange are my top picks! Thanks, what was the SA called do you know? my bf is dutch and he lives of the PC, so he's new job is to be best friends with this SA!!! Enjoy the birkin, very jealous ..... and the tax rebate, I wont get one because I'm from the UKahh well!!
I got an orange 35! 2 SAs served him. one lady and an older gentleman. Dont know their names though!

I just realised you are from singapore, I thought about writing singlish to you lah!! haha that is my ideal bag!! my bf lives literally 5 mins from the store, and I live 2 hrs from my store!! I was offered a gold 30 in harrods 2 years ago but I really wanted a 35 for the money I was going to pay, I just walked in and asked to see what they had, never bought from them before so they must have either felt sorry for me or liked me haha! Since then I've never tried getting one but now the bug is back!
I'm going this weekend, so I will check out schipol and the PC!

I am going to the PC this weekend and in a couple of weeks i'm going to Paris to FSH, I think maybe better luck in the PC as my bf is a local!! I hope to start a bigger collection when I start working, student life doesn't really accommodate that well for birkins but the euro to pound is so good I just can't resist! How much tax off do you get? I won't get it but just wondering incase any non EU friends come to visit me haha!!

It varies for different parts of EU. London being the highest so far at 17.5%. Paris 10%-13% (Hermes is 10%). Italy, Amsterdam etc 12%.
Euro to SGD is very very good now too!

If they've got it in a pop colour, that would be great! If they've got a neutral like graphite that would be great too. Just any colour really apart from gold or black.

So an update from Amsterdam, they had very little in the shop itself, 2 evelyns in a navy and i think etoupe! no victoria i'm afraid, altho the schipol does get them in sometimes!
Cookie was very lucky to get that birkin as it was ordered for a customer who didn't like it, so they don't generally get birkins unless someone has ordered them! Their new system is a wishing list as they aren't taking orders anymore apparently, and this is only open to dutch residents, if something similar comes in to what you have on the wish list then they will ring you. I don't really understand this as they said they dont get birkins in, only for orders, so maybe now they will just get them in? no idea?
Schipol: had one orange evelyn, lady said that you can email 6 days in advance to see what they have and make a reservation! unfortunately for us europeans we don't get tax off even at airport due to hermes rules!
anyway, the hunt for my birkin continues! xx
