I would like to share my fantastic HERMES experience in the Galleria shop in Central today. I met this really nice SA called Judy. As my name has suggested, on my tea lady salary it would probably take my life time savings to get any bags in Hermes, I went to the shop today wanting to get something for my sister. Judy was so helpful and explained the pros and cons if I get certain items for my sister after I explained to her what my sister's preferences are and her lifestyle.
Although I did not end up buying anything I will definitely make it a mission in my life to let all Hermes lovers around the world to know that Judy is THE best Hermes SA I have ever came across. I've had some not so pleasant & borderline on embarrassing Hermes experience in the Pacific Place Hermes shop and Lee Garden. Apparently the one in Pacific Place would only "entertain" you if you are a VIP and the one in Lee Garden practically ignored me. Judy you are a STAR!!!

Tealady, Pacific Place is the most infamous boutique in HK for poor service. It's widely known and even rich locals here receive poor service if they're not that boutique's VIP. The only way to get attention and good service is to be even more snobbier than they are!:graucho: I tried that once on purpose just for the heck of it since they were so rude and surprisingly it worked! As for Lee Gardens, just ask for help and they'll be happy to serve you. They like to leave people alone until they ask for help. Try H sogo, they are very nice too. :D

hello! i always go to hermes in galleria and judy is my favourite SA too! if you are looking for special colours, sizes etc, she will check other stores and the warehouse for you... call before hand if you have something in mind, the no is +852 2525 5900

A brand new birkin would go for HK$9x,xxx at Milan Station I think. You can also check out a shop called Brand Off (in World Trade Causeway Bay) which is from Japan and they carry a good stock of birkins.

The price of a brand new birkin 30cm Clemence/Togo is about HK$71,000 and 35cm Clemence/Togo is about HK$80,000 at the France Station. This is not the marked price and you have to negotiate the price with them.

i had pretty good service at pacific place (could be because i was very specific about what i want) and they even called Peninsula for me to put a bag on hold for me. go figure!

was completely ignored at TST Canton Road because too many tourists in there look at sale items this week!

peninsula is where i get consistent good service.

Hello, I suggest to buy the birkin from Brand Off - the price is more reasonable:graucho:

I just saw an orange Kelly (I believe 28cm), orange shoulder Kelly, navy blue 35cm Kelly, 40cm Etoupe Kelly in the Hermes store (NEW store) at the Elements. I saw it this morning at 11:45am. Hope it is still there when you shop! Good luck.

I've had my name on the so called wishlist for a birkin in a few stores in HK since few years ago and they never call me even after I've purchased my second birkin from my local store in Macau (my first was from a HK reseller). However, they have called me for a few Kelly's which I turned down (as I was patiently waiting for Birkin) and the SA had to politely ask me did I want my name removed so they wouldn't bother me with kellys again. So I assumer they have quite alot of kellys to offer.

kellys are much easier to find in HK now. they even have it in the duty free shop in the airport terminal but not necessary in the bright colours that are still in hot demand.

I also did see a few shoulder birkins (one in the window display in Central).

i saw various Kellys, mostly classic colours like Gold, Etoupe, Black, White. The more "unusual" colors I've seen were Vert Veronese and Orange. The typical sizes are 28 and 32.

Hermes has a 2 storey store in Peninsula Hotel (not on the same side as LVMH and Chanel), so you will have to walk through the lobby to go to the other side. Central has the largest floor space at Galleria on Queen's Road towards Hong Kong Park. It is a quick walk from Landmark towards Bank of China building. If you have the time, you can always try Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay and Pacific Place. But they should be able to do stock search for you and you know, in Hong Kong, they can probably have it delivered in a couple of hours!
