I saw a massive travel Birkin in Blue Jean at the Lee Gardens Store awhile back. You can easily find Birkins galore at Milan Station, Italy Station, Paris Station, etc in HK

I just went to Tokyo and HK and my advice is head to Tokyo cos there were birkins everywhere - in all conceivable sizes/colours/leathers. 30cms are a little harder to get in Japan because Japanese women all prefer 30cms but 35cms/JPGs are easily available. Plus there were many 35cm crocs and also kelly bags were everywhere!!! Oh not forgetting the diamond croc I saw at one of the H stores in Shibuya. In HK, you need to know the SA for them to offer you one - a little like S'pore I feel. But i saw Kelly bags and Longues and Jiges etc displayed in the shops! =)

In the H stores!!!!!!!!! It was a little overwhelming and they had more in the back. And you don't need to go there early, first thing in the morning. Cos i got one just before the shop was closing at the Isetan Shinjuku Hermes shop. But you do need to pay a little more even after they take the tax out of the price (eg. around USD400-700 more for a birkin..)

Hi Caryn! It'll cost 1,050,000 yen (without tax, with a non-japanese passport) for a 35cm Togo Birkin. It costs 990,000 yen for a 30cm Togo Birkin. Not too sure of the exchange rate to USD and it will definitely be more expensive in Japan but the chance of strolling into a boutique and coming out with a Birkin is worth the premium to me.

The odd thing is all stores were unwilling to check with other stores (it's some kind of policy because of the high volume of requests by tourists to do so) for their stock. It's best if you call personally to check in case you don't find something in the first store you go. Another tip - there's this super luxe H boutique located in the Ritz Carlton (at Tokyo Midtown) but you would need to make an appointment to enter the store. It's an appointment-only place. There were tons of exotics there though (even bi and tri coloured ones). =) Good Luck!!!!

Oh.. Actually, it works out to be about the same as Singapore. So if i have a chance to get the Birkin in Tokyo.. it sure sounds worth it to me to pay premium for the ease of getting it! Totally agree. Thank you so much juicyagogo.

Yes LADYHERMES, my friend was in London yest. He only managed to get a Bearn for me. :) Its cheaper than compared to Spore, especially with tax refunds! Thought i share with you guys, i managed to bag a Kelly here in the Singapore boutique yesterday. Very excited about it. My first Kelly. :) Its Coco in colour goatskin. 28cm. I shall take a pic soon!:)

Congrats Carynlim!!!! Pictures!!

VanillaSkye - I managed to get a black togo birkin when i went to Tokyo recently.. I now use it daily! It's my favourite now because I baby it a lot less than my other bags... probably because of the colour. =P
