Hello ladies,

I wil be visiting Hawaii in early June, and hoping to get one or two bags (non QB/ lindy 26/evelyn tpm/ garden 30) while I'm there. Do you see any chances for getting these bags? It's extremely difficult buying these bags in the counry where I live

I was there in January and was offered an evelyne TPM on my first visit. I texted and stayed in contact throughout my trip and got a garden party 30 two days later. There were quite a few of both styles while I was there. I'm not sure if it's changed since then but hopefully will have good luck when I go again next week. Also, this was the first time I'd shopped at this store... the SA wasn't the friendliest but hey, at least I got something from her :)

Thank you for your reply! If only I can buy bags that are on my wishlists, I would not mind SA being stuck-up/mean

I was sooo disappointed by my visit to the Waikiki location today. I had a lady who was older and just seemed like a poor saleswoman. I asked about colors for shoes and she just kept saying no to everything. No to shoes, no to any bags (like Evelyne) I’ve been so lucky that every Hermes store I have shopped in I’ve met knowledgeable and friendly SAs but this lady just didn’t seem to care about selling anything. They did have some mosaïque au 24 plates and scarves but when I asked about coming back another day she said oh but we don’t have anything. And I said you don’t plan to get any shipments? Out of principle I didn’t buy anything because I didn’t want her to get any commission. I will try the Ala Moana location. What a bummer

That's unfortunate :( Did this SA happen to ask your name or phone number and could have likely seen via your profile that you have a home store? Perhaps she did not want to step on your SA/home store's toes.

No I was a walk-in and didn’t give her my information. But I was wearing oasis sandals and had a pink Picotin so it was obvious I was an existing customer from somewhere else. I may still go back tomorrow on Easter since she said she wasn’t working then and see if I can get a different SA. My hotel is very close by

I also shopped at the Waikiki store today. They don’t have much stock at all and it’s slim pickings. I have an awesome SA though and managed to score a bag but I did spend quite a bit on this trip.

I would definitely try again!!! I had an awesome experience there just last week. Was able to get small leather goods, sandals, ready to wear for my husband, and bride a brac in small. was offered a picotin too.

I responded to your question last week regarding the colors available for the orans but it was lost…I tried on a few pairs and purchased a pair in gold. I also purchased a pair of Egerie rubber sandal. What a strange response from the SA you met.

I arrived in Waikiki on Thursday evening last week, went straight to visit the store on Friday and was lucky enough to get a wonderful SA names Minako. I was also a little disappointed at first bc she said she had nothing but with a little persistence, begging and buttering up, she started to show a glimmer of hope. Bc we all know they will tell you they have absolutely nothing and she flat out said I needed a purchase history for any bag that is in high demand, even if not a B/K/C. So she ended up going to the back to look and although she came out with no bag, she asked if I was open to a Picotin, which means that she had it in the back. I wasn’t looking for a Picotin but told her I was open to looking at it if it came in. She looked up my account info, took down some notes, and told me she would text me if anything came in since I am here until April 20th. I also texted her right after I left to thank her and to keep me posted. Lo and behold, she texted me yesterday morning to tell me she got a mini Lindy in in framboise and I jumped on it. So I feel very fortunate to be offered the ML even with hardly any purchase history. Just be patient and make sure you go to the store early in in your trip to give them a day or two to come up with something. And try to make an appt to avoid waiting in line. Hope this helps!
