Hello ladies, I came across a youtube video where the customer built a relationship with a friendly SA in Hawaii entirely by phone. She was offered some quota bags after making a few purchases. I have been going to the hermes stores near me and did not enjoy the shopping experience (SF, Palo Alto), and feel disheartened about being offered a birkin, so I'm planning to give Hawaii a try. Has anyone here built a successful relationship by phone with a Hawaii SA and willing to share your experience?

This may have been possible in the rare times of 2020 but now, Hawaii will not ship any bags and some SAs extend that to include SLGs as well. You could certainly try to create a relationship remotely but the account holder will be absolutely required to personally travel to HI for any bag purchases (and from what I’ve seen lately, even known customers aren’t called to collect bags, it’s more an atmosphere of spontaneous in-person offers). Please take social media posts with a grain of salt, I mean if it were that easy, everyone would do it.

So sorry to hear that the shopping in the Bay Area stores didn’t work out for you, but personally for me I never enjoyed either store as well. Like acrowcounted mentioned, I wouldn’t take the you tube video seriously as those were different times. Some people in CA have resorted to going to Vegas (due to close proximity) to establish a relationship. I personally chose another out of state store due to the same reason you mentioned and developed a relationship very quickly and got offered nice quota and non quota bags. Hope that helps!

I’m going to Hawaii next week, how’s it there? People have been mentioning that stock is low, is it true?
Hi! I just got back yesterday. And yes, inventory is low. There are many items I wanted, but they didn't have it in stock.
Here is my Hermes journey with the Waikiki boutique.
I am from the Bay Area, and I have been working with the same SA in Waikiki since 02/2020. I didn't really have a purchase history in SF, except for a Clic H bracelet.
My first visit, I purchased a belt/buckle for my husband and oran sandals for myself. It sounded as though there was a Kelly in a pink color to offer me, but I had my heart set on something neutral. I was offered a Constance 18 in Epsom Noir with SHW, which I accepted.
A few months later, I asked about an Evelyne TPM in Etain and Pink Rodeo PM. Those were mailed to me.
Second visit was in 06/2021, I purchased a belt/buckle for myself and another pair of Oran Sandals. No offer. I am not surprised as they were super busy. I don't think I had a large enough purchase that day. Their inventory was low as well. So it was hard to find things I wanted that were available.
Third visit was this past week. I purchased 2 pairs of shoes, soy sauce tray and Hermes iWatch band and my SA said they would do their best to get something from my wish list. It sounded as though they had a Kelly in a white swift material. But again, I had my heart set on a black one.
I was texted a day later for an appointment the following day. And at that visit, I was offered my dream bag, a Kelly 25 Sellier in Noir with SHW. It's gorgeous. The stickers were not on the strap any longer, and the stickers on the front clasp is almost coming off. So I think it's been shown a few times. I also really wanted GHW, but beggars can't be choosers. I was also shown a black Rodeo touch PM, which I also snagged. I still can't believe that she is mine. :)

Beautiful bag! Congratulations! It's still a very classic and stunning combo despite it being palladium.

Lovely bag!

I actually think PHW is very cool and casual. A great everyday fuss-free bag :) Congrats! Great size, too

I might be in Hawaii in December. Wondering if Hawaii store also (at Waikiki) will be having the same stock problem everyone is having and they won’t have any bags. I hate the company and love their goods
