Waikiki had Croc Birkin on display when I was there, then after a few days Ostrich Birkin.
Lots of Croc Kelly wallet, etc.
I saw a lady (Japanese) being sold an ostrich pochette plus that silver necklace I forgot name you can use as strap (but you do damage the leather after a while)

Do you remember what colors were the two ostrich bags? I wish I was there when you visited.

I know I should be content getting my Kelly there but eh... It was sort of the only choice I was left with. They had lots of bags most here would have been so happy to be offered but not fitting my preference. For an example, I was super excited when they said they have a malachite with ghw. But it was a B30, which I don't like.

After going through the list of available Ks, SA checked C for me, which was only available in colors I don't like. But I think I am just too difficult, lol. Most members here would have a hard time deciding which bag to get there because they have so many coveted bags.

The new temporary store is near the Apple Store. That helped me in terms of directions.

I don't recall seeing anything outside for exotic leather, but I asked about C they said there's a few croc C available. I'm looking for epsom so I didn't ask to see them.

^ 24 with phw. Lovely, but I like my bags in bright pop colors. My personal fave from available bags was rose Jaipur Kelly but I could not take that as I already have C24 in same color.

Didn’t realize Waikiki store relocated to temp location (should have read up on this thread first...duh). Was on a time limit and only came upon the store due to bright colored (bluish) Lindy in window! Love H colors and window displays that are like a beacon!

Saw TPM Evelyne (Blue Paon) - super cute, Sellier Evelynes (Noir, Fauve), group of int’l tourists being shown Picos (blue maybe electric and red) and a Bolide (Celeste?). Not super friendly folks when I commented that I thought the blue was a nice color (probably thought I was trying to muscle in on their “score”...not, I’m just a chatty and friendly person ).

Sweet SA was very kind and offered me PM and GM Rodeos. I told her they were not really my style, but she kept saying how sought after they are which I am aware of. She suggested I take the PM size and even wrapped it around my seriously-worn-desperately-needs-to-go-to-spa Blue Jean Evie.

I acquiesced since I think she wanted me to get something that was coveted. So took that and a scarf since I really didn’t have time to look further. Great experience, albeit short. Unfortunaltely, Hubby was late for his Spa appointment and not too happy with me. You win some (H goodies) and you lose some (cranky husband)

I was just recently in the Ala Moana store and met a lovely SA. However, I wasn't able to get anything. She didn't have anything that I liked. Inventory though is huge! There is a huge wall of bags. One plume 28 indigo with contrast stitching (possibly orange or red) caught my eye but ended up passing on it. Lots of Lindys, Toolboxes and lovely colors too.

Are shoppers mainly non locals? Trying to find a place to get a birkin or Kelly!

My understanding is the shoppers are a mixture of locals and non-locals. The stories that I have heard if you are after something specific is, they'll ask you to come back the next day to check. This has happened to two of my (non local) friends in two separate occasions. Both the Ala Moana and the Waikiki stores do have a lot of inventory but it kinda does have to be your 'lucky day'.

When I was there, it looked like mostly tourists. I agree with @Ang-Lin you have to be "lucky". I was looking for a constance, she offered me a croc one and I wasn't ready for it (or more like my husband wasn't ready for it. Haha). Didn't ask me how long I was there going to be for or anything like that just in case something comes in. Just no. She wasn't rude or anything though, she was actually apologetic. She even made me try a few other bags.
