I usually go on Fridays or Sundays and they usually are out on display. Tourism has been down on the islands so not as much traffic in boutiques as in the past.

I have found the Ala Mouna stosre to be helpful in getting a request.. be it a birkin

or something else.. the gals are quite nice in that H stsore

It's easy to get a Birkin in HI, but hopfully it's the color you want!

I believe it is H policy to not discuss bags and particularly the Birkin or the Kelly over the phone. There are extraordinary exceptions for regular customers who have a good relationship with their SA though.

Good luck. I live in honolulu. I just got my first birkin, orange with GHW 30cm at Ala moana hermes. Even you don't see them on display, they might have them in the back. I might drop by Hermes tomorrow, will let you know if I see any birkins.
