I got a bag a few days ago and someone else was in the room right before I got there getting a bag.
Aloha everybody!!! 
I’m here in Waikiki with DH. We arrived on last Monday and I went in to H Waikiki on Tuesday to shop. Yesterday I received a text from the SA to come in to see something. I was offered the B30 Epsom Retourne in Gold with PHW. The SA told me that it’s a neutral color except the hardware is not gold but for the 1st bag offer it’s pretty good and that I should take it. The SA was kind enough to give me a few hours to think about it and decide by close of business.
Before they closed for the day I walked back into the store and had another conversation with the SA. Basically I wanted to know if I pass on this one, will there be any chance I can get either a K25 or B25 before I leave on Friday. And if not, will I be getting something better next time I come (who knows when may be late next year). The SA said they usually offer BKC on the 3rd visit but I got an offer on the 2nd visit with a couple of levels of management approval is very lucky. They also tend to offer bigger size on the first bag than smaller sizes after the relationship is built up with the store. That being said if I passed up on this offer I may not be getting any B25 or K25 before I leave here. It was almost like a take it or leave it offer. And if I don’t take this next time I come back I’ll have to spend some more in order to get another offer. The SA also mentioned that things are getting harder and harder year after year so it’s better for me to take it now. They said it really doesn’t matter if I take it or not bcuz they don’t earn commission on bags but they just wanted to help me to get a bag. After my long conversation with the SA and all of the pros and cons I walked out with the bag right at the time they are closing lol.

I had not seen much epsom other than sellier BK recently, so this is good to know too

Congrats!!! Gold with PHW is a combo that grew on me. It gives a good contrast (even tho gold with GHW is still preferred among most people).Aloha everybody!!!

Looks like they did get a shipment last week. I couldn’t really find things to buy to qualify for an offer for b or k so I happily accepted a mini c this time!
Congrats on your Mini C offer!! May I ask, how much did you spend to qualify yourself for that? I am hoping to be able to score one myself and was hoping to not go over a 1:1 ratio lol. Thanks in advance

It was less than 1:1 for me and this trip wasn’t my first time shopping with my SA. I heard the usual ratio is 0.5 (or even 0.3) for mini c. Just be aware that my data point is from my friends only. Good luck!

So fortunate to have 2 sizes of classic gold bags to choose from!! I also like how your SA was so straightforward to help inform your decision. I know you were hoping for a K25 or B25, but you can't go wrong with a B30!!
