Congratulations @nat74 on your gorgeous B30!! It's a classic and will never go out of style. This can be your "work bag" for professional events and your B25 GOG can be more of a fun bag! So fortunate to have 2 sizes of classic gold bags to choose from!! I also like how your SA was so straightforward to help inform your decision. I know you were hoping for a K25 or B25, but you can't go wrong with a B30!! :hugs:
Thanks @Bdbunny for your kind words :hugs:. I know it’s not the popular combo and that’s why it was a very hard decision for me. And this “your SA was so straightforward to help inform your decision”!!! I really like the fact that my SA is being straightforward and open. One thing worth to mention about my SA was when I was looking at the twillies on the first day I went in to shop my SA said “why don’t you wait till you get a bag and know what it is then pick the twilly to match it?!” I was like okay! it was a good sign and sounded promising. And then we went over my preferences of the color and hardware. My SA already told me that “sometimes you have to pick and choose between the color and the hardware. That means if you really like the color but the hardware is not exactly like what you like you should accept it too. Something is better than nothing”… Now that I think about what my SA said at the time, they might have already had in mind of what bag to offer me… All in all this was truly a nice experience for me as I never got an offer almost on the spot like this lol.

Ooooh I knew it! Thanks for sharing your story! If a bag is to be had you will get it lol. I’m so happy for you! Congrats! I prefer ghw also but after awhile you really realize how minimum the hardware and how much it matches your jewelry lol. It is such a classic that it could eventually become your favorite when needs change!

P.S. we should hang so our husbands can sit and roll their eyes at us  ;)
Hey @jimmyshoogirl! Thanks for your support! GHW is just my thing but I guess I’ll have to slowly accept PHW on certain bags.

P.S. My hubby doesn’t like to step into H store. He would sit outside somewhere and wait for me.

Jumping to a new store will likely erase any progress and good will you’ve made in Dallas and be unsuccessful in getting a bag in Hawaii anyway. Strongly advise you to think long and hard before proceeding with multi store shopping around.
Agree. There are SAs that are sensitive, "territorial" and value loyalty. My SA was very outspoken about that. That is also the reason why I try to avoid buying from other H boutiques. Admittedly, I am still curious to look at other boutiques though. Also, when I buy from an H boutique that is not my local store (which is not often).. I try to buy it under another family member's account (except when I am abroad). My SA has been so great and produces results so I can't really complain. When I went to H at the Royal Hawaiian Center, someone also was being offered a bag in the room in the 2nd floor. So I know there are bags. Though I never asked for one. I also visited H in Ala Moana and the SAs were nice too. I was looking for a certain RTW item and she did a search and said that there were only two in the whole US..and I had mentioned that I already have an SA locally and she said she understood the situation. She said that since I was leaving soon and she can't have the item delivered either way, it is best for me to contact my local SA & even helped me get the SKU/item #/product ref # of that thing.
So in general, if your SA is cool with you shopping around at some other stores/with other SAs, great! But if she values loyalty, then you diminish your chances of getting a highly coveted item each time you shop elsewhere even when you already spent significantly with her.

Thank you so much @CN_loverofluxe! I hope next time would be a mini K. :giggle:
Congrats on the lovely B30. If you really wanted a size 25 or mini kelly though, you probably should have waited as now you’ll have to rebuild even higher from scratch. And turning down bags one doesn’t want shows that the client is serious and they shouldn’t waste their time with offers that don’t meet your request. Same for accepting a C when one actually wants a B/K, it hurts you in the long run. JMHO.

Thanks for your suggestion. I figured that I’ll have to do more prespend between now and next time we come back here anyway. So might as well taking it and then when I come back I’ll spend again and get something else (hopefully). :P

Hopefully, next time you will get a mini k next time! The thing with shopping in Hawaii is that you need to shell out all the money for the pre spend and the bag itself all at once… definitely feels it when the credit card bills come :P

I got a bag a few days ago and someone else was in the room right before I got there getting a bag.
Congratulations!
How long you shop with H before they offer first quota bag for you?
And do you have spend more than bag price before offer?
All my bags from Sotheby’s and FP so far.
I just started with H SA 6 month ago and spent 8k or so. No bag offers sadly
