Overall, I would say that the vibe is very different and while GTN is much more subdued, it lends itself to more drama. Dressage is for me a "throw and go" that matches so much in my closet. I think that GTN is very dramatic and beautiful in this size, so it was a must have in that season for me. I also knew from the moment I saw the teaser photos in this thread that I would get Dressage Tressage. The textures! The patterns! I included also thumbnails for comparison. Hope this helps.
I have more to say on the issue of how I went about building what feels like a coherent CSGM collection but I think the mods might want that on a different thread!

Thank you so much!!! I don’t know how I didn’t realize that Dressage had red in it! Definitely doesn’t seem too similar, thank you! I agree, I love the variety of textures in this design.

I'd also love a "burgundy, warm reds, and other harvest colors" thing for the fall. There must be something.

Thank you so much! I think it definitely is the best of the season. I love my Parade, Pantin, and En Liberte shawl, but I have to admit that Cristal is my favorite of the bunch. I need to experiment with more creative ties. I am not doing it justice with my old stand-by "drape around the neck approach." So many ways to highlight various colors; I need more practice!
