Hermes exceptional sale London

I think the sad reality is that most of the good stuff went in the first two days which were Hermes invitations. The 2-3 days after this were Arlettie VIP and then open to all arlettie. A tip for anyone about to go: there are a lot of cashmere scarves (100cm) priced at £385 but it’s not in the scarf section, you have to go to the end of menswear near the hats and scarves and they are folded on the shelves.

I can see a lot of the stock on Vestiaire atm… but honestly I don’t know how resellers are making money once you factor in VC 25% commission and you have to stump up 10% you get to the price it costs in store…

Good luck!
I just came back from the sale, even in the men’s section, there were no more cashmere scarves left.

Went to the sale today. There was no point arriving more than 30 minutes earlier since we had to wait in the cafe area until 30 minutes before the slot opened.

Was hoping for some cashmere shawls but as other had pointed out, they were completely gone (both men’s and women’s). For my size (39-40), most of the shoes and sandals I’d have wanted were also gone, others were a bit out there so I decided against it in the end. With men’s ties, there were only bright colours left, or blues. Rtw was decent but nothing caught my eye. Silks were pretty good, much better than the last few times I went.

Came back with 4 scarves (2 for gifts), 2 twillies and a zebra scarf ring. I even managed to get a hold of the double faced H factory scarf. Checking out was very easy, no queues. The entire venue was actually much emptier than last time, where queuing at the tills lasted over an hour. If you’re a silk gal like me, totally worth it. Shame about the 140s…

Great feedback! What are the designs of the 90s that you got?

Classic styles I suspect will be minimal unless you are a small shoe size. There is a lot of luck to these sales and sometimes things turn up later that were not there before. Good luck.
I have a feeling they are keeping stuff back for the second round of Hermes invites. I asked The SA where he found the chypre sandals he gave me and as another person was listening he said ‘it came from a reject on the tills and then whispered to me that there was a ‘special pile’ in the stock room.

Had to book a flight+accom just to be there 😂 meeting some friends after too so it'll be a good day regardless
This about sums me up right now!

😂😂 I got the invite when I was at home with food poisoning and had been dying in bed for 3 days and I wasn’t looking at emails… the slot offered was in 2 days…. I live in france now… literally jumped out of bed, spent money on eurostar tickets, hotels in London were super expensive… I’m saw travelodges at £230… and somehow managed to arrive just in time for my slot. It was horrible, I was so tired I couldn’t even enjoy the experience 😩
