The lovely shoes person who helped me also told me about the central stock room, but the way she put it was that staff move stock from a central location somewhere in Ally Pally (presumably securely looked after / locked up) to back up stock piles behind the curtains at the main sale space that the sales ppl go check for sizes and refill stock. That’s why there cld be a chance that the stock variety cld change hour by hour…

I’ve been unwell for most of the year. I found out about the sale 2 weeks ago, invited through Hermes. I was so looking forward to it after my health ordeal. My slot was the first one on Monday. I drove down, took me 2 hours, reached the back of the queue. I was about 10th in line but immediately started feeling unwell to the point I was crouched on the floor. I bypassed everyone in the queue to reach the front door and asked security for assistance. They were so kind and gave me water and a chair to sit on. They got the on site medic for me and I deteriorated in the medical room so I was carted off in an Ambulance. I was soo close to attending the sale 😭 that will teach me to run before I can walk! Much better now thankfully but now unable to attend as no more slots. I phoned Arlettie who have put me on a wait list but unless somebody cancels I won’t be going. C’est la vie!

You are very lucky! There was a wide selection of Orans and other lovely items - Gwen and Famosa. I’m a 36, so did manage to get a few good shoes.

The tees and T-dresses are really nice from H (I have the Boldoc) but unless someone is obsessed by the design, better at sale price.
