This is annoying.

However, mixed in amongst these are probably people who have had a change of heart and want to offload some stuff too.

I often wonder what to do when I’ve had a change of heart and want to make back some money!
Same, I think I might have a case of trying to flex up/down on sizes in order to justify getting some shoes this time, sigh. Something about being at sales, mulling over purchases whilst others eyeing over your shoulder that makes one pull the trigger on a FOMO basis 😵‍💫

I had the slot today at 12PM a quick report:
- Everything is very organised and civilised
- The no phone rule is very very strict even if you are holding it in your hand they ask you to put it away
- Great selection for Mens RTW - suiting, winter jackets, t shirts and swim. They had ties in plenty of colours no pockets squares and a few scarves in cotton.
- Great selection of Womens RTW - a lot of runway pieces from the last FW collection like the pleated dresses (around £4k). A few great coats in cashmere / wool / alpaca at great prices in neutral colors. A lot of the last SS runway pieces in cotton and leather.
- Men's shoes was okay - very slim on sneakers / loafers and boots
- Women's shoes was disappointing if you are size 37.5 - 39 - orans only a few pairs in fur and velvet. I did spot a few runway boots in suede but nothing else I liked. The staff was lovely and went out of their way to search the backroom twice for me but mostly came back empty handed. The most exciting was a pair of velvet Paris loafers but sadly too small.
- Silks had a vast selection in 90s and twillies but I have enough of those. Nothing in larger sizes. No cashmere or wool scarf even though I asked 2 ladies and both said they were all gone in the first days.
- Accessories were also very slim - CDCs were all gone as well as the leather bracelets. A few bangles left but nothing caught my eye. They do have boxes of bag charms like the orange shopping bag and the leather lasercut cap around £250.
- They had a few woven summer hats but mainly in size 56 as well as printed caps but nothing in classic colors.
- Home had a few items like cashmere beaded blankets around £5k and a few random objects.

I left with a single tie  - imo I rather spend my money at the store on things I really love. I would recommend 100% for RTW and silks but if you are going for the shoes keep your expectations very low unless you are a size 34-35.

Good luck to everyone - I hope you find tons of treasures

Edit to add: I tried very hard to flex my shoe size for a pair of Cayla clogs in black with shearling lining but at £550 I rather buy the right size at the boutique. Same went for the Paris loafers and a few Orans.

I think the sad reality is that most of the good stuff went in the first two days which were Hermes invitations. The 2-3 days after this were Arlettie VIP and then open to all arlettie. A tip for anyone about to go: there are a lot of cashmere scarves (100cm) priced at £385 but it’s not in the scarf section, you have to go to the end of menswear near the hats and scarves and they are folded on the shelves.

I can see a lot of the stock on Vestiaire atm… but honestly I don’t know how resellers are making money once you factor in VC 25% commission and you have to stump up 10% you get to the price it costs in store…

Good luck!
