I would love to see a picture of your Rose velvet Orans! Thank you!I am size 40.5/ 41 shoes hardly any left in that size but the sales assistant found me Rose velvet Orans which I am happy with. I did not look at other sizes but there was vast selection in small sizes. Did not like any other shoes in my size range. Tie selection was great, no more cashmere scarfs left, I wasn’t interested in silk but plenty there. Loads of bracelets, belts pretty much gone (no buckles), some hats. If you have been to previous sales there was a lot less selection this time
When I went in Monday afternoon there was a food selection of women’s RTW in a full range of sizes. They also had a lot of men’s RTW but I didn’t look at it all so not sure re sizing range. They do have changing rooms but only 3 or 4 cubicles so be prepared to queue.I can't believe I have to wait til Saturday morning...
Are the RTW sizes for women in a decent range? And were there changing rooms to try clothes on?
Even if they haven’t completely sold out of the cashmere shawls, you may have been disappointed by the selection: there were mostly many of the same oat/light pink hem cw of Grand Theatre Nouveau, some blue Libre Comme Pegase, some Grand Tralala in red, blue and mustard, some La Selle Imaginaire and I found one Botanica Grafica on the mannequin in the corner. That’s it! They said all their CSGM were out and they had nothing more in the stockroom or any more that would be replenished.Would love to see what you got! Heading there tomorrow
Did you happen to see any cashmere shawls? I was hoping to get some but it looks like they might already be out...
The Paris sales have bags? Unreal!!Going tomorrow at 10.30h
Hopefully it will be worth the trip!
My SA told me that most of the bags that are in the display at stores go to the Paris sale.
Not that I am aware of, and it def didn´t in this year´s sales. Also, a friend of mine works at the events dept at Hermès in Paris and even for staff they have different private sales that include bags and you have to be working at the maison for at least 3 years to attend. If you have less than 3 years of seniority you can attend the "normal" private sale that includes silk, shoes, rtw etcThe Paris sales have bags? Unreal!!
Thank you. That’s disappointing, but I don’t think I’d have bought any of the ones you mentioned anyway. I hope the silks will still be around! I managed to get some unique ones (and some of my grails) at the last sale!Even if they haven’t completely sold out of the cashmere shawls, you may have been disappointed by the selection: there were mostly many of the same oat/light pink hem cw of Grand Theatre Nouveau, some blue Libre Comme Pegase, some Grand Tralala in red, blue and mustard, some La Selle Imaginaire and I found one Botanica Grafica on the mannequin in the corner. That’s it! They said all their CSGM were out and they had nothing more in the stockroom or any more that would be replenished.
Ahh wish I could go back in time! No. Bags used to be sold during the paris sale like 30 years ago. Since late 90s there are no bags being sold during the Hermes sale.
Ohhh that might have been me!! I came from france this morning but I only bought 5 items 😊I really think they need to clamp down on resellers. I saw a duo today with a large suitcase…just so obvious what their intentions were.
That’s what he told me yesterday.No. Bags used to be sold during the paris sale like 30 years ago. Since late 90s there are no bags being sold during the Hermes sale.
Congrats on your Chypre score! Very jealous!Hello all, I went today and I have to say it was underwhelming. Orans almost non existent in 37-39 except for fluffy ones. Great selection of orans in 36 and 35. Only a few model of boots and no classics available. Rest of the shoes were just bizarre and very trendy. RTW was excellent and they had a lot of staff to replenish. Silk 90cm scarves - huge selection, all 140 cashmere are gone, saw 2 models of blue 100 cashmere. HW almost all gone apart from a few pieces but I didn’t even know what they were. No more standard blankets but there are a few of the very high end ones left ( ex RRP 14k now 7k). Classic Baseball caps all gone. As a tip, it makes a difference to find a good assistant in the shoe department, I would have walked out with just one oran as there was nothing else I liked and he came back with boxes for me to look at. By some miracle he found me a pair of cyphres and trip. Literally he had to slap hands away from the cyphres as he was walking to me. At the till they said that they had only seen 2 so far in the whole sale. I think items from the tills that get discarded are slow to come back out and some SA will just say what is available is out but it’s not quite true. bracelets only useful if you have small or large wrists, nothing really available in the middle. Sadly after reading previous posts it seems most of the classic items were sold in the first few days.
