Does anyone have experience with H.com not sending packages even after it states that it has been sent? Specifically, I purchased the L'Instruction du Roy Cashmere and silk shawl on Monday paid for overnight shipping. It states it was shipped and it didn't arrive. I am leaving on Saturday morning to go on vacation for 2 weeks, and that is why I paid the extra to make sure that I was here to get it. Anyway, I went on another spree this morning when I saw that there were a few things that I had been looking at, and they were available. Once again paid for overnight shipping. This afternoon I got a call from FedEx saying that the 6 things I ordered today will be delivered tomorrow. I did call the customer service, and she was nice but not overly helpful. She thinks it is in the warehouse and will let me know tomorrow. Well tomorrow is Thursday the latest it can get here is by Friday. Any advice? If it wasn't for the fact that the shawl is so hard to come by I would just cancel the order but I do have my heart set on wearing it at the reception of our vow renewal.
Was the issue with Hermes or FedEx?

I've had several experiences where FedEx failed to deliver my package.
I was expecting an H package today and waited at home ALL DAY only to check tracking and see that FedEx claimed they tried to deliver it ay 3:51. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them explaining that their driver never showed up, in fact, I signed for a Priority Mail package at 3:58 - I was talking to my postman at the same time FedEx was supposedly at my house!!! FedEx has fallen into third place in the reliability game.

You can go to your account info page on the H.com website, choose your order number and click "track package" to see where it is, I hope you receive it tomorrow!

FedEx delivered my new laptop to a house a block away. Luckily they had my Phone number printed all over the box (some sarcasm for lack of privacy) and the woman called me. I wanted FedEx to get it and redeliver for legal reasons if there was a problem with ot, but they were closed for the day and closed the next day too according to their receptionist. So before the woman decided to keep it, I drove to a stranger's house to claim my laptop.

So them messing up wouldn't surprise me.

UPS not much better. Left $300 shoes at the wrong house and their call center told me once the driver listed it as delivered they would take his word and not ask him where he left it. An investigation would have to be launched, but in the mean time I should go check the doors of the houses around me to see if it was there. :rolleyes:
 
megt, Congrats! That is one fabulous shawl. :) All of the colorways are gone now.

I agree though that FedEX has gone downhill. I got 1 of 2 packages that needed to be signed for yesterday and the 2nd package they delivered to my neighbor. She opened it before reading the name on the box. I mean she signed for it and thought it was her iPad. She came to the door with my box as I was checking the tracking, and it was showing delivered. Really? She live 2 houses down from me, and both my packages have the same name and both needed a signature and the driver never even realized. Kinda scary.

OMG, that is awful. I like UPS but then again I am there best customer. I have my UPS drivers cell # and he will sign packages for me when I am not home and then leave them. My entry is very hidden and I live in a nice neighborhood where we all pretty much know each other.

This happened to me with H. My package was never given to FedEx. When I called H, they had to contact the warehouse, and the warehouse had to find the package. It took about an hour, but they found the package and sent it to me overnight, when I had originally only paid for ground shipping. If you don't hear from H first thing in the morning, call them and tell them you think that your package is still in the warehouse. I'm sure it's there. Good luck.
 
I missed the Fed Ex guy a couple of times but by coincidence was crossing the street in my neighborhood and saw him in his truck. He was nice enough to stop and actually got my package out and gave it to me. I am not so lucky with them usually.

My frustration with delivery services seems to rotate from one to the other as mishaps occur...and every so often I believe one of the other tenants in my building takes a package (or two) left in the lobby and addressed to others...ugh!
 
This happened to me with H. My package was never given to FedEx. When I called H, they had to contact the warehouse, and the warehouse had to find the package. It took about an hour, but they found the package and sent it to me overnight, when I had originally only paid for ground shipping. That is what the woman that I spoke with said. She thinks it is in the warehouse. That woman is supposed to call me tomorrow morning. If I don't here from her I will call.

I know sometimes when I have ordered from H.com, the original label got messed up that they had to send it back for 'processing' again (causing a minor delay) -- and when I ordered my Garden Party and chose overnight shipping, it arrived LATER than the non-overnight option.

and speaking of the .com, I recently sent them an email regarding an inventory inquiry, no response. I thought that was odd because I did email them once before regarding the color of a bracelet that was different in the description than what was shown in the picture and they did respond in a timely manner.

Fingers crossed that you get your shawl soon.

Thanks, I hope so too. It has to be here by tomorrow otherwise odds are good there won't be anyone here to sign for the package. I do have a house sitter for my pets while away but I can't expect him to stay and wait for my packages.

I recently purchased a Malachite evelyne from H.com which sadly is not nearly as bright and colorful as I expected based on the image from H.com. It is more of a hunter green. I have never needed to return any of my H purchases. May I ask those of you with experience returning and shipping back, what is the fastest and best way to return to H.com? Thanks so much!:smile1:

You have 30 days to return or exchange items purchased on H.com. I believe you can exchange or get store credit if you bring to boutique, but they can not refund your money at boutique. Have a wonderful trip! Do post pics of your new goodies when they arrive! Best wishes!

Sign in to your account on h.com and process your return. They will email a pre-paid return label to you so that all you need to do is box up your return and take it to FedEx. The last time I did this, it took two days for the returned item to reach h.com, and they processed my return the next day. On other occasions when I have shipped returns back on my own, it has taken two to three weeks for them to process my return. I hope this helps.
 
I just made my 3rd order on an small leather goods on EU Hermes website. Is that means it will be cancelled later according to their policy :tdown: (2 items annually per customer on small leather goods)? Well...I will update on the process of my order, cheers...;)
