Honestly if they just held the item in the cart for 3-4 mins and forced the “person“ checking out to do a “human verification test“ I think that might stop the “bots” from purchasing. I don’t believe bots can be successful at visual verification tests….(or can they?)

Good question but it’d be nice to see it done. I’m not sure if Apple Pay would work though if there was a verification page or if Apple Pay would still bypass it. Bots are the worst…

You're right! The 18 picotin is now $2875. Pretty sure they used to be $2750..

H.com Canada, saw it at 10:40am PST and of course, only saw "oops the selected items are no longer available".

edit: I was able to check out the Evelyne bag! We'll see if it ships!

99% of the time I’m too slow and the item is sold out but this 1% of the time I appeared to be too fast to add a picotin to my cart, like “superhuman speed fast”, and got blocked AFTER I have the item in my cart. So it really doesn’t matter, we loose either way.

Just browsed through this thread. It really got pretty hard to shop stuff online. I lost that vert jade ctg during checkout round christmas..
then I was so grumpy I didn’t try to buy more online.. but I just managed to check out a touch rodeo without much refreshing or time spent.. now I’m reconciled with h.com

And there’s hope for normal people checking out things..
