Happy online shopping

I personally am not sure about that. In the time I have been checking, I have not seen any new updates on the weekends (on the US site). I get the sense that their distribution center operates M-F, but I don't know that for sure.
I think I agree with you. Hermes is not that desperate to be operating on a weekend. Maybe I’m wrong, however, I personally never saw any action on the web on a weekend.

Until recently, this thread was a way to talk about best practices of ordering on the website, order experiences or issues, etc.

Lately, the advice being given is how to manipulate website URLs while use automated refreshing techniques and other applications to get ahead of others and before it formally appears on the website for purchase.

The number of questions this thread is seeing about forwarding services to purchase on a website not local to your geographic locale has skyrocketed as well.

Just saying that type of advice is not in the spirit of how the brand wants their clients to shop on the website. Just purely my opinion.

I agree with all you note! :flowers: And all the constant and increasing requests for, and info circulating on various threads regarding how to work the system...just feels the antithesis of luxury shopping to me. Just my opinion, of course. :flowers:

How would you know if the bag is available without clicking on “add to cart”? How would you know if it’s newly added? For example, they have a Kelly on the web right now but it’s not available and you would only know by clicking on the “add to cart button” thanks

Not sure I understand your question but if I’m looking for an item on H.com, I’m aware of what is currently available vs an hour (or whenever I refresh) later when I refresh and I see an item that shows up now. :shrugs:

Yes, you would see a new item in a different color but what if they restocked the item in the same color ( like the Kelly that’s currently there) you would still see the same bag as before. Hence, you wouldn’t know if this is the old bag or a new one. I’m just trying to understand how would I know if the pink Kelly got restocked or not.

Oh I c wot you mean now.
That’s a great question that I don’t know the answer to. Perhaps someone who has more experience here, will chime in.

They dont tend to add a bag, have it sell out and then immediately restock the exact same one the same day or next day. Usually when you see a sought after item still on the site it’s because H hasn’t removed it yet and it’s actually not available. After spending some time on the site you’ll notice the pattern.

Literally I just started using my Visa for everything and it worked. But before that, yeah, same. Different email address etc. No clue why a company that seems so sophisticated in so many areas can't figure out the payment system!!

So you're basically creating a completely new profile? Because if I login into my profile with my email I see a lot of rejected orders (even though I'm already their client and succesfully purchased with them both online and in boutique). Or are you just giving a different email on the phone so they'll send a link there, and paying through that link won't be rejected. I'm a bit confused, if I give them a different email how will they know my details for shipping? Gosh it's so frustrating, their customer care are of no help either.

Does anyone know how long blocks last on the website? I've been blocked all morning. It's been an hour,? Maybe two?
For me, it range from 5 mins to about 1-2 hours. My temporary work around was if I'm browsing on wifi and then got blocked, I turn off my wifi and browse using my cellular data. It always work with me. Sometimes using a new browser or incognito mode also works.
