Did anyone else have issues with the new suede Chypres? I wore mine outside for a walk and it already started to come apart. Still waiting for Hermes to respond regarding a replacement or repair..

May i ask if it is possible to purchase the chypre online through eu or us website if i am in australia? If the shipping address is locally example to a friend’s address but i will be using an australian card to pay it? Thank you to whoever can help/reply. :)

Hi everyone! Has anyone ever felt that the sticky strap on the Chypres is tough on the foot? I have a bit of a high foot arch and I’m hoping that the strap will stretch if I wear it out, but wanted to see if anyone has hopefully had similar experience and could advise on what to do…

Loosen when you start wearing them. I have the black studed version and rose sorbet in leather both are fine honestly but studded is way softer because it is calf leather the epsom on the rose sorbet is a bit tougher. I loosened it and then fastened it back snug after few weeks wear. I too have a high arch/instep. Hope this helps.

This helps a lot!! I was chasing this pair for so long, I’m not willing to send it back plus the length is perfect! Thanks a lot

What should the “ideal length” be? I mean I just got my 40.5 and they fit the length of my foot exactly meaning from tip to tip there’s no room left at the back for movement

I’m thinking I need just a half size up but wanted to get some advice

It’s comfortable I’m just not sure if I should have extra room in the back

That's preferance really. I like 1/2 to a size bigger for length on all slides and mules etc except Chypre - for me personally - due to the mold that dips for your foot to rest. Like Birkenstocks; I find it better when it is perfectly exact or close as possible.

That’s how mine are. I think that’s how they’re supposed to look?

I definitely think it’s fine. I paid for mine using a foreign card as I live in between countries and it was totally okay. However the EU drops have been really underwhelming this past week ;(

ughhhh that’s the same issue I had. I posted some pics a few days back, I think it’s the same as what I have. I’m still debating wether to send them back or not . I haven’t been successful in finding them in a 40 unfortunately.

Thank you everyone for your help on the sizing and fit!

I managed to grab a pair of black ones in size 41 so just waiting for that to come in to compare to the 40.5 and see which one feels better

I realized I really like the look of the white ones but may have to keep the black if 41 is my size since it’s been impossible to find any in these larger sizes :/

Try the mens shoe! They just dropped a bunch of the mens ones and they have 41 and based on the size guide it’s the same measurements as the women’s 41!
Yeah...I actually returned the Mens black shearling ones. They seemed huge on my feet. And the "H" is different on the mens. It's a little larger/more masculine. I wish they dropped as many women's Chypre as the did men's. I'm constantly checking the site.
