The studded Chypre are theee most comfortable I am assuming because they are calf. I have the rose sorbet Chypre in Epsom the calf is way more supple and nice on the foot. Hugs but not tight or irritating.
I just got my second pair this week. I have the rose shearling and now the natural shearling. Rose is a 40.5 and natural ones are a 41. I can fit both. For the 41, I will just have to tighten the strap some and of course the length is longer but still very comfy. I can make them work. After I wear this latest pair I’ll know which size I prefer. Went in for orans and came out with these babies.

I don’t actually have any Oran’s yet. I was going in to get a gold pair of orans and 40.5 in those fit good so I was going with that size.
And yes I got the rose chypre in June, my sa text me she has them and if I wanted them. I said Yes! This time I told her about this natural/shearling ones and I told her I was interested. She checked and saw they had a 41, I said I would try them. I had tried the velvet chypre in 41 a few months back and they were too wide. But this pair I could make work, so I think it’s the shearling.
They don’t get many at all in my store and they don’t hit the floor at all.
Yes I have. I got the black leather ones in black in a size 40 last week (im in canada though)
