Hey from my experience they run one size small so order a 42 if you are normally a 41. Also according to their size chart the 1/2 size only goes up in width not length! So if width is your issue then go up to a 41.5 but if it’s not then 42 bc the length won’t change from 41 to 41.5. Look at the size guide and you will see the length for both the 41 and 41.5 is 10.4 inches but the 42 is 10.7 inches. It’s the width that increases from 41 to 41.5 from a 9.8 to 9.9. I hope this makes sense!Hi there!
I'm looking at buying the Chypre however am completely lost for sizing - I usually take a size 41 in chanel/gucci - I was wondering if I should take a mens size 41 or if it would be fine to grab them in a womens 41.5?
Hi all! I was able to snag a pair of women's Chypre's in black on the Hermes website. I bought 39 (my size in Orans). They fit great (and honestly so much better than the Men's). So glad I waited it outHas anyone here tried buying the men's Chypres instead of the women's? I managed to score a pair of Men's 41 (I wear 39 in the Orans). They came in yesterday, but I'm undecided if I want to keep them. I keep thinking they're a bit wide, but it feels like the style itself is wide to begin with. As a side note, I had to tighten the straps so they are more snug around my foot. Otherwise it fits great
Here is a pic - I need a second opinion!
Yay!!! Major score that’s the same size I’m waiting on!Hi all! I was able to snag a pair of women's Chypre's in black on the Hermes website. I bought 39 (my size in Orans). They fit great (and honestly so much better than the Men's). So glad I waited it out

Awwww, they look so cute! I know they are ridiculously silly, but I love mauve pink and they are so comfy and adorable I couldn't resist! They're going to be my house slippers, travel shoes, and for those days I don't give af but will still know I have my special Hermes furries on. lolGot mine today as well. They aren’t making my heart sing, though. I have an appointment at my boutique next Friday. Hopefully they have regular chypre. I do have fuzzy orans coming, though. I think I’ll love those more. FYI- the 37.5 fit perfect. I’m usually a 38 in Oran, but 37.5 is my tts. View attachment 5593754
I feel the same way. I thought they were ridiculous until I tried them on. Now I love them. So comfortable and great for IDGAF days and still look chic.Awwww, they look so cute! Thanks so much very useful ❤️Hey from my experience they run one size small so order a 42 if you are normally a 41. Also according to their size chart the 1/2 size only goes up in width not length! I think it's because I'm wanting a pair to go out casually in, but these are uber casual. I'll keep trying them until my appt. It's my first pair of "Dad" sandals and I used to not like them at all. The style is growing on me, though. For reference, it took me over 5 years to get into skinny jeans once they were "in", lol. I'm a slow converter.Exactly!
How do they deem your address to be the same as another account that's not yours? I get people live in condo but then the floor and unit # are still different...So to follow up, my order was cancelled... Yes I did order 2 colour ways but there shouldn't have been a problem. Except they said that there was another account with same delivery address placing similar order so they cancelled mine (not theirs!)
She tried to give me all kinds of excuses why my order was cancelled, amongst which the fact you can order only 2 Chypre per season (I had only ordered a pair for hubby recently which doesn't count towards that ridiculous quota) ...
In the end she ran out of excuses and said I should place another order with another delivery address!!! To which I replied they are now sold out.. anyway. there goes...
