I have another question! I recently saw a mini Kelly 19cm on the resale market.. is this a fake or is there such a thing?
It sounds like the seller is using the actual measurement of the bag. Hermès bags are not always exactly the standard Hermès sizes. These bags are handmade, so you will often find ones a couple cm larger or smaller than the standard sizes.

Hi, I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this question so if it’s is not and you could direct me to the right chat or sub forum I would be super grateful! I was just wondering when it would be appropriate to update my wishlist for a Kelly or birkin with my SA. I have been shopping with her for about 6 months now and made my wishlist about three months ago. So far haven’t heard anything which is to be expected so I was thinking of expanding that wishlist but I don’t want to bug her incessantly as I’m sure that would be super annoying. If you guys could give me any tips on protocol, when to approach her, and what are some good expectations I would appreciate it! I’m not a super big spender maybe about $1-2k a month so I know I’m not at the top of the priority list.

I would say if you’re looking to expand or change your wish list, as long as you’re not doing it every week or every few weeks, it’s totally understandable to make changes. After all, if your SA doesn’t know you are open to other options, they may not even think to offer to you.

ok thank you! Additionally, how long should I wait before asking about a bag? For example if I change my wishlist how long should I wait before inquiring about receiving a bag - 3 months, 6 months, etc.? I know there’s not a formula just looking for some advice. Thank you!

Hi
Something has been bothering me lately so seeking advice/opinions on how to interpret this.
I have been purchasing from my SA for about 10 months now. She has offered 3 bags so far incl. 1 QB so I’m quite happy purchasing from her.
What’s bothering me is that she never takes appointments with me on weekends. She says “WE don’t take appointments on weekends” (so it sounds nothing personal) but when I go to the boutique on weekends I always get asked “do you have an appointment?” And there is a path beside the queue for those who have appointments so I know for sure they DO that on weekends too.
My spend is about 2-3k€/month so I know I’m not a VIP but I feel at least I should deserve weekend appointment. She knows my husband is very busy but still refuses to take us on a weekend even when we picked up something special for my BD.
Does anyone have similar experience?

My SA told me it’s very busy on the weekends and recommended that I come during the week for his full time and attention. So, I do this because it works for me. That being said, I would tell your SA that your schedule has changed and you really are only able to shop on the weekends. The store is open, so there really shouldn’t be an issue. I have never heard of no appointments on weekends

I literally have a deal with my SA that I don't come on Saturday  It is entirely possible and even likely that your SA doesn't take weekend appointments (your store is open Sundays, I'm guessing from the "weekend" reference). TBH I kinda respect the boundary setting! Unless you know of someone who has made an appointment with your specific SA on w weekend, I wouldn't even think about it, and would just tell her when you absolutely have to come in on a weekend. (Funnily enough I did exactly that today, because it's the only day we both had!)

In my experience only, SAs are swamped with tourists on weekends. mine prefer that I come on weekends so he can give me some time. Also, sometimes they are roped into store coverage or dreaded first floor duty, and are asked to prioritize walk ins. Last year, I went once on a summer weekend and it was packed. I was told bc middle eastern tourists travel to NY that month to shop. We had an appointment, waited for 45 minutes in the mens store bc Madison’s anir conditioning wasn’t working, then gave up. Agree with a poster above that if you need a weekend slot, just say so. I would Not take this personally :)

Thank you for your reply.
I have already many times asked I’d prefer coming on weekends as I also work full time , then she rather proposes a drop-in and meet who ever available. That makes me fell really disappointed as it sounds she rather cares more for drop-in (unknown) customers than me who has never walked out without a fair amount of purchase. :confused1:
