EB, glad you liked my brilliant entrepreneurial concept. I think up dumb stuff like that and e-mail it to DH, and he--if he acknowledges it at all--looks at me like I just dropped down from the sky. So it is rewarding when I can make the Peeps laugh! Woot!

ETA: And thank you for the good wishes for my DM. She sees the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully he will be able to offer her some reassurance.

It's official, men have no sense of humour! Mine gives me the very same expression. Our coffee machine demands to be cleaned from time to time, but there seems to be something wrong with it at the moment & is still demanding to be cleaned, despite having run the program 7 times. When I said that it had developed OCD, he looked at me just as though I was mad. See, I'm used to talking to temperamental machines in this house! Maybe you'd better call the men in white coats now, thinking about it! A little sojourn in a nice clean white padded room sounds quite good actually!

Hi, Jules! I'm doing better, thank you! I should be getting the last of my oral sutures removed on Monday, the dizziness is gone, and the back/shoulder pain comes and goes (gets bad overnight when it stiffens up), but the waxing and waning is actually reassuring--to me, it's confirmation that it's just a muscle pull and will heal. Man, does that litany of woes make me sound ancient, or what? :p Now to get my DM feeling better, keep the DH and dogs ticking along, and we're good! Though now I am a little concerned about your coffee maker.

Mindi, thanks for your concern about my coffee maker!! It is a rather vital part of the household; you should see how grumpy DH is without his morning espresso!! :cursing: It's a right pain to get fixed though, so I'll have to put up with it telling me I'm a slovenly housekeeper until something more fundamental goes on it!
