Well, I've been cautiously wooping since yesterday!! The contract says that the choosen designer will not disclose their ID until after the wedding, so that leaves AMQ in the "do you still beat your wife" position. Do they lie to the public/media if they are or do they out themselves and break a contract? I would LOVE for it to be true, I can only imagine how glorious that dress would be! AMQ has, of course, denied it. The article I read also said that the odds of it being true are also lowered due to the nature of his death...SO we'll see!

I've got some good news. After botching the repair on my epi electric Alma (handles sewn on crooked, front of bag scratched during repair, lining sewn in unevenly to ruin the shape of the bag), LV replaced my bag without a problem. Yay! What an experience!

restricter - you gotta snap some pics of the Paddy's Day mayhem in NYC! I have actually never attended the parade over here. I just don't think it could even compare to the NYC parade - the New Yorkers put the Irish to shame with their insanely gigantic parade!! I actually avoid the city completely on Paddy's Day. It's just ridiculous. Full of drunk gombeens wandering around, the pubs are jam packed, and there's just crowds and crowds of people - it's completely overwhelming and horrible. I stay at home and enjoy my day off work - that is the best thing about Paddy's Day! So I'm not surprised that your Irish co-worker hates the day!

Okay, send some spare vibes now, people! DH is about to take off for his trip, I can't move my neck, and my mom just called because she says her blood pressure is high and she's had a headache for two weeks. TWO WEEKS? She's seeing her cardiologist Friday, fortunately. She's scared, understandably, so I just tried to reassure her that she's doing the right thing by consulting a doctor and that this needn't be a big deal, it just needs to be checked out. I'll be scared for her privately.
