Thanks, EB. The meltdowns seem more frequent and dramatic these days, but it was just sad to see her cry when we left Guinness for surgery. I'm glad you were able to take care of the drama(s). You are a fierce and awesome lady all on your own, but a little ABL attitude always tilts things in your favor!

Hey girls! :sunshine:

Things are good across the pond! I've just been really busy these last few weeks. SO and I are spring cleaning our apartment at the moment, I really need to de-clutter. There's just not enough hours in the day!

BMom - did you go to the party last night?

Did I read that there are a few Chat doggys who are feeling poorly at the moment?

BBL - how is your DH? :hugs:

A-T-G - how was your trip to LA?! And didn't you stay in the London in WHollywood

Mindi - did you have surgery?? Hope you had a speedy recovery :hugs:

EB - good for you for sorting out the drama and now you're happy :hugs:

restricter - saw the pic you posted of Winky at the vet's, he is so cute!

Huge hugs to you all and everyone I've missed! Wow I'm sooo behind, I'm so sorry girls, I'll try to keep up this week. Things are fairly busy for me til the end of March but I'll try to post more if I can!

Good morning!

Collin and I are enjoying our Sunday morning ritual--snuggle in bed and read the paper. He loves the paper!! He tears it, tastes it, crumples it up and then starts over. So cute!

Hi to April, lulilu, Bmom, eb, mindi, ob and anyone I may have missed!

Bmom-did you go?

First of all, I (and DH) thank you all for your concern and vibes for his recovery. Things have gone very well and we are so very, very touched that you have been kind enough to think so much of him. It is a special group of people that we are surrounded by. Again, the circle of chat women.
Thank you all. We are hoping for the best results possible.
:ty:

EB, I have been looking for a scarf, so last night, I went to .com and there was the holy grail for our own OB! I had never seen that colorway. I think it is beautiful. I have a red one, which I am probably going to return. There is something about the design some of the other colors in the use of white that grabs me. All of a sudden, Hermes white ink is my grail. The printer's ink is creeping back into my veins again.

OB, I totally forgot about the NM event. When the letter carrier manages to bring the mail on time, we get two of everything now.
Sorry about Guinness. I hope he feels better soon. Poor LilOB. She was totally emotional about leaving the doggie at the hospital. The response was totally normal. And now, not so poor LilOB. She's really a smart little cookie. She gets you when you are at your weakest point; busiest "don't bother me" times, somebody else getting all the attention. She is at that age, and dear heart, she is, well a SHE. Preschool will teach her even more tricks. But she needs all that. Just remember this, you are the mother, she is the child. Lots of luck. I survived it and DS survived it as well. It's a wonder neither of us were institutionalized:nuts:

Happy Sunday morning to everybody. It is rainy (I actually forecast that one yesterday when I woke up in pain and said, "It's going to rain tomorrow."
DH looks like the Hathaway shirt guy (for you all who may remember that) or to you younger girls, a pirate.
Have a lovely day.

Please send stability vibes my way if you can spare them. Once a year at about this time I get this dizzy thing where I can't stand up or move my head without getting nauseated. Room spins, the whole nine yards. I've seen every specialist conceivable and there's no diagnosis, so I just wait it out. Usually, it only lasts a few days. But it seems to strike when DH is traveling so I get to crawl around feeding dogs and such. Good times. Phooey.

Morning all!

Mindi, feel better soon. So odd that it's annual or is it seasonal? The change between one season and the next always messes with me.

To those that asked, yes, I did go. Had a lovely time, Brenna found a new friend, and while the drive was a bit stressful (through 2 beach towns with very narrow lanes and lots of traffic), we got through it.

Off to agility class with Cody and then meeting BFF who had to fly in last minute for a friend's brother's funeral (very sudden, totally unexpected).

Hope everyone has a great Sunday. CK, the newspaper time sounds great! I started a Fri-Sun subscription to the NY Times, totally blows the LAT away!

Gotta stop that drinkin' Mindi!!! just kidding!
Is it a sinus thing? If it just happens this time of year, all the grass is turning green, the birds are back, allergies are back. Sounds awful. My ears clog up and and my face hurts (yeah, I know, it's killing you!) and it's sinus city.
Really, I hope something/someone can help you and soon. Do you have somebody who can drive you to a doctor?

B'mom, so glad you decided to go. I knew you and Princess Cupcake would have fun. Even before I stopped driving for medical reasons, I stopped driving at night. I have "starter" cataracts and it's impossible to drive that way. Also, when DH starts driving again, who knows when he will be able to drive at night again. I didn't like it before, I know I'll hate it now. Wow, I sound like the old bag that I am.
The LAT owns the Baltimore Sun. I keep wanting to cancel the subscription. I barely read it anymore -- but, I cannot be the ONE who cancels and then the paper shuts down (or the LAT shuts it down.) I know I can read it anywhere on any device and we've got a few. But, again, with the ink, the smell, the paper, the memories of a newspaper when it was a size you had to hold in two hands.

Good morning ck, and Collin. Atta boy for eating the newspaper. You are my kind of kiddo! It smells so good!
Nice memories to have, ck. How is the frigid midwest? We are having joint-pain inducing rain, but it is in the 50s.

BBL, you hit the nail on the head...LilOB is a SHE! I'm so glad DH is recovering well. You know you always wanted to live with a pirate :D

Mindi, sending major "make the world stop spinning" vibes!! That's so scary. Also sending "Henry behave while mom is sick and dad's away" vibes.

Bmom, glad the trip went well. So glad PB found a new friend!

Ck, what a fun way to spend the morning! Snuggling with the lil one

My cat Lily is so weird. When she's happy, really happy she not only does that kneading action with her front paws, she wags her tail.

B-mom, glad the trip went well, too.

CK, Sounds like you had a wonderful morning.

BBL, Stay dry vibes... It is pouring down here. I got soaked to the skin in my walk from Costco to my car and loading it up with my grocery run.

ck - aw that sounds like such a wonderful morning you had with baby Collin!!

Mindi - sending stability vibes to you, I hope you feel better soon. You poor thing, it sounds awful! :hugs: :hugs:

BMom - glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself at the party last night!

EB - aw Lily sounds so cute!! A cat wagging her tail?! he he :D

BBL - hope DH's recovery is going well :hugs: :hugs:

Thanks so much, guys! It is so great to check in and see my wonderful Chat friends are wishing me well. It's a little better after a day sleeping in bed. DH doesn't leave until tomorrow so hopefully I'll be ambulatory by then. Henry was mostly confined downstairs today to let me sleep. On a few occasions, of course, he'd escape upstairs and I'd hear the GALLUMPHING of my huge small boy and know I had about 3 seconds to cover my face before a small red dog launched himself at my head. (gallUMPHgallUMPHgallUMPHhopleapONTHEBEDWITHMOMWHERE'SHERFACEYAAAAAAAAY) Gotta fold some laundry and then. . . back to bed! Kuh-RAZY day today!
