Bingo! That's what I'm experiencing. I have extracted (pun intended) some Tylenol 3 from the surgeon (a la purse!), to assist me and DH is off to pick it up. Yay. Henry is outside digging up the flower beds and pulling branches off of the flowering bushes. Earlier today he ate one of my Birkenstock clogs. Can you tell I am off my game? Ah, well, he's having a good time. The person from the dog care center is coming today to discuss invisible fencing, which is looking to me like a darn good idea. Would keeping HenHen in a 1' x 1' area be too extreme? (Olive sez "Heck, no, Mom! That's a GREAT idea!")

It would make me feel better knowing I'm not alone, and with all the catchup reading, I see I am not!

And I was thinking about last year's WOW the other day and pop in here and what do you know, another WOW has been planned.

Thinking Cinderlala will fill me in when the time comes...

waves back to all. i'm finding some peace with my doggie situation.....at least right this minute. it's likely she will be leaving us in the next week to ten days. i need a few more stinky messy nuzzles, but it's her time. my little papillion is going to miss her so much...
he is her antagonizer as well as her protecter. her life has been happy, and long. she grew up with my girls, and they are all moving on to their next stage in life. colleges and doggie heaven.

Oh good, it's not just me then! I actually got up to clean the cat boxes during the last 15 min. Nighty night! I'm turning in early (for me) in preparation for an early morning of trying to get myself and the lil one out the door at 7am to get to day school/preschool registration tomorrow. Someone reported there were already 10 people camped out in line at 8:30. Oy.

Hey, olive, my sistah in mouf pain! Not the sort of sisterhood one desires, I think. I had some gum tissue grafting. . . The surgeon takes it from the soft palate and puts it around the teeth where needed. This was the second of three surgeries, since each time the doc can only get a small amount of tissue from my palate. I still opted for this approach rather than using cadaver tissue. . . Of course there's absolutely nothing wrong with that approach, but I had recently read an investigative journalism report about a funeral home that was illegally harvesting. . . well, everything from everyone, regardless of their cause of death, and there were some nasty consequences. Spooked me. Well, that's some lovely breakfast reading I just provided. TMI, huh?
Short story: I feel your pain, olive! Feel better soon and enjoy the good drugs! How are your beauteous DDs?

Yay. Got up at 6:30 to get to the preschool at 7:30. No coffee, no breakfast, but LilOB is cheery because she gets to watch Elmo first thing in the morning There's at least 50 people ahead of me, I'm thinking the odds of LilOB getting into her class are slim.
