Mindi, if it helps, I think toothache or pain in that area is worse than childbirth (from someone who has gone through two 24 hours plus labours!). There are so many nerve endings in that region (I mean mouth not the other, lol!) and the pain goes along your jaw into your ears; I really feel for you! Hopefully your surgeon can prescribe something more effective. Vibes for nerve-calming remedies~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Pretty necklace, Purse! Me likey!! Better not let Jingy see that, he might try to steal Winky's thunder with his lightning BIN paw!

Bingo! That's what I'm experiencing. I have extracted (pun intended) some Tylenol 3 from the surgeon (a la purse!), to assist me and DH is off to pick it up. Yay. Henry is outside digging up the flower beds and pulling branches off of the flowering bushes. Earlier today he ate one of my Birkenstock clogs. Can you tell I am off my game? Ah, well, he's having a good time. The person from the dog care center is coming today to discuss invisible fencing, which is looking to me like a darn good idea. Would keeping HenHen in a 1' x 1' area be too extreme? :p (Olive sez "Heck, no, Mom! That's a GREAT idea!")

Good morning from the land of the poodles and their poor daddy. Poor Daddy is wearing those funky cataract black sunglasses and he doesn't look half bad.:supacool:
Wish I could shake this funk I'm in. It is very bad not being able to get in the car and drive someplace. Very bad indeed.
Herself has finally figured out how to ring the bells on the door to go out!!! She follows with a little dance sometime. She is so proud of her little self. Of course Charley has figured out that if the bells ring, it means the door will open, so he's right there!
Mindi, yesterday, you were talking about Henry being a true redhead got me to thinking of the other Henrys I know who are redheads. Well, there is my uncle, but he doesn't eat dirt. Then I'm thinking about Henry VIII, the baddest redhead ever and you got him reincarnate!!

LOL! At least mine won't have six wives. We fixed--er, broke--that! It is a very odd feeling to not have the ability to just GO somewhere. But I'm glad Mr. BBL is doing well! And hurray for La Coco and the bells! Smart girl!

Mindi, glad to hear drugs are on their way. Jules may be right about the childbirth comparison--especially since the childbirth pain goes away so quickly!

My massai has arrived! :woohoo: If I am going to be charged customs, how/when would that typically happen?

Yay for the Massai! In my case, I THINK the money owed was on a document that arrived with the bag and was actually collected by the carrier at the time of delivery, but I may be misremembering. If there was nothing with the bag, I'd think you will receive an invoice in the mail. Pics when you can, please!
Yeah, it's the ongoooooing nature of the pain that's getting to me. It's not THAT bad most of the time, but it just goes on and on and on. . . . I've now taken 1/2 a Tylenol 3, and except for feeling a little narcotized (not an entirely unpleasant feeling) I would say it's a home run. Pain GONE! Re the childbirth comparison, labor also has the added bonus of, um, a baby! That you get to take home! Me, I just had some gum tissue taken from here and put there. Not such a thrill, really. :p

True about childbirth pain being offset with the joy. :smile1: I hate tooth/mouth pain. Hard to sleep and hard to eat, thus eliminating 2 of my favorite activities!

Congrats CK! If you don't get a bill in the mail within the next week or two, you should be safe. I ordered a Colette x Hermes scarf and got an invoice after the fact in about that time frame.

BBL - I'm glad Mr. BBL is doing better. You'll be back on the road before you know it.

Mindi - Jinjy's also a redhead whose nose, paw pads and ears glow when he's excited. The 1' x 1' has me picturing HenHen doing his best "Mime in a Box" imitation. Sorry about the clog(s).

:laugh: The "glowing" is pretty cute. (I think of Jinjy as a sort of strawberry-blonde!) And as to the clogs, well, I've decided they are sort of a decoy. When he gets into my closet and goes for those, it means he's not showing interest in anything Hermes. I'm okay with that! Mime in a box! Boxing Henry. . . . hmmmmm. . . .
