Back from the rheumotologist. Realized, not a moment too soon, if I got my shots, I'd be not good to DH tomorrow at the hospital and that would just be wrong. I do not want to be out of commission tomorrow.

And, if things couldn't get any worse, Herself has a mushy looking lip. Its swollen and red. My hope is that Charley bit her in her mouth, but that's not his MO. So, now we have to go to go to the vet by 10:15. There is never a dull moment around chez BBL

I know the feeling, BBL. Had it about a month ago when Henry was ill, Olive was ill, DH was being diagnosed. . . Argh! You will get through this, and the Chat vibes will be with you! I've already started dispensing vibes for your DH tomorrow, and am having (minor) oral surgery myself tomorrow in solidarity. Yay, surgery! :p

DH is doing fine, thanks, misti! Henry is, indeed, still tryin' to kill me, but he is proving to be a hearty little fellow so at least I'm worrying less about him dying these days, regardless of what he eats. Olive continues to give us frequent, piteous looks that clearly say, "We were so happy before he came, weren't we?"

Thanks for the vet vibes. According to the vet, poodles seem to have these types of yucky drip over the mouth lips and the color was fine. She said sometimes the color changes from black to red and back again. Anyway our baby was perfect last week when I put my head in her lion's mouth and saw that her mouth and throat were a perfect black color. The other guys have spots in their throats and she didn't. No miss perfecto for her.
So, she is good. I am good, till I get my shots next week and we will have a lot of vibes going for DH tomorrow for the eye surgery.

Well, here's some happy news. Winky is good. No need to medicate or change diet or anything. We're just monitoring his bloods 3-4 times a year and adding extra water to his food.

I'm also taking him in 2 weeks for an acupuncture consult to see if we can maintain/increase blood flow to the kidneys. Whew.

So, the oral surgeon's office calls me today to say, "Um, is the doctor doing your right side or. . . ?" And I'm thinking, "SHOULDN'T YOU KNOW THAT?!" :rolleyes: I think this surgeon is a good one, but his office is very, very, very poorly run.
