Morning Peeps!

Nurse, I used to play squash, great workout and fun! My GFs and I had a little team we called the AOFs (@sses of Fire, since that's how it felt after our first few games!). Enjoy!

Tax day today, hoping the refi comes in handy!

Happy long weekend to those participating! Think we may see Gnomeo & Julliet on Monday. Looks cute and got good "adult" reviews...

Chat has been so quiet lately! I've been MIA, but have been keeping up. Ouija, I can never get enough LilOB pictures. She's easily the most fashion forward toddler I've ever seen......love her! Nurse, what great purchases you've made! Love the clutch, too cute.

BBL, so glad DS made it to Vermont safe and sound, and I'm keeping you and DH in my prayers for an easy, uneventful, and successful surgery. Bless you, both!

Lala, can you manage to get out today, since DH is home? Hope so, and hope Jax feels better. Poor little sweetie!

Min, how is Hen-Hen??? I rather imagine he's very much like my DGDog who was adopted about the same time as Henry. Chewy (very aptly named) is always into something, and is so full of himself. And, as you say about Henry, it's a darned good thing he's so cute! :D

LilOB says thank you to her Chat aunties! She will continue to rock the pajama bottoms worn as head wear and the mismatched socks whose mates were ingested by "bad doggie!"

Mindi, spring cleaning, you go girl! I am tempted by your offer to make a veritable wall o orange boxes, but DH might get it in his head that the number of orange boxes is a direct correlation to how much I spend at H. And we can't have that idea popping into his head!!

BBL, so glad DS is happy at school!

CG, thanks for asking about HenHen! Overall, he is great! Up until today, I would say he has outgrown his "Herkin' Henry" sobriquet, but today he was out in the yard a lot and enjoyed quite a few pieces of wood, and. . . yup. But he just ate his dinner with gusto, so he seems unfazed. He is three times the size he was when we got him! Whatever his GI issues, he is growing like a weed. And he is gradually--GRADUALLY--getting more amenable to correction and less whackadoodle. And we love him. :love:

DMIL and DFIL just left. They would like to take Collin over night in the not so distant future. Is it wrong that I am not at all crazy about the idea?

Of course not! This is your BABY! There is no "right time" for you to have a first night away from Collin. Follow your heart! It's sweet that his gramma and grampa love him so, but I totally understand--heck, I'm worrying about the first time we kennel Henry!

One thing I can say in Chewy's favor is that even though he'll tear apart most anything in sight, he generally doesn't ingest said treats. I thought about you the other day. DH was over at DS and DDIL's house and asked about bring Chewy home for an overnight visit. DDIL told him not to worry about bringing him back!! She was kidding, of course, but he can be a hand full.

Ck, I can fully understand how hard it is to be away from sweet Collin overnight, but as a MIL, I can also tell you how wonderful and special that first overnight visit is. I still vividly remember keeping both grands for the first time. It's amazing and wonderful. Caring for the child of ones own child is close to a religious experience. :smile1:

Is it just Collin being away overnight, or do you have other concerns about it?

That's so sweet! Definitely a different perspective and possibly the first thing that has ever made me excited about LilOB growing up and away from me.

BBL: Regular medicine is literally based on herbs and the nature so your DS has chosen actually a well known way.
Thank you, sweetie! And I am sorry but I didn’t do a reveal. It is soo small but when I think about it I might do something after the weekend. It felt so great to go shopping and I was extremely lucky to find everything else on sale except the scarf at H. However I am soooo lucky to find an old season scarf right in front of me before the price increase has come here. The Kelly is dark blue and in a size 32.

Mindi: I know. You are right. I wish designers would make clothes that fit me better so that is why I am starting to think about the size 10 as it is an average one. Normally all I care for is the stomach fat as that is the dangerous one. My Kim Kong ass is something I quite like actually. And you are so right about the bags and the scarves. I never go to the RTW at H. :p

I had an amazing time playing squash so we are doing it again tomorrow! Yay! Btw it is so great that Hen Hen is doing better. I was just about to ask for him.

Bmom: I love the nick name! Can I use it? :p

Cavalier Girl: Thank you! It is so good to hear from you again. You are so right about the grands parents taking care of the little ones. It is so special and I am sure that even though it is hard, CKhe will do great. Just think of it as day care. Or is that silly of me to say?

OB: Your daughter will be the next Blake Lively. I am soo sure of it.

Avril: Thank you! I did buy my HG in London! I got the purple cw in Harrods. I think I posted it but I am wearing it a lot these days so you will get to see it soon. :p
