For a cat with so many problems, Winky just inhaled 2 full cans of Fancy Feast. And burped. Did I mention he's from Brooklyn? What a terror. Meanwhile the other two are dead to the world from their shots. Jinjy's a little too lethargic. We'll see how he is tomorrow. Smuffy complained for an hour when we got home. Cats.

And I'm getting my oil changed tomorrow. Yay! My vacations are too exciting for words.

I'm just sitting by the 'pooter all sniffly from the stress of shoving Fig into her cage and the traumatic homecoming with Panda.

Catching up while young Collin sleeps. I just had my second serving of mocha heath bar ice cream. Nutritionally, I've been bad today. Not terrible, just deviating from the high protein, low carb lifestyle that I have been following ever since my gestational diabetes (which has gone away, but I'm in a high risk category to get diabetes someday--darn family history!). Anyhoo..

Mindi-Some people, many people, don't want to be happy. They will find something to be unhappy about when there are 100 things to be grateful for. I see it in people who focus on a teeny tiny annoyance at work rather than being grateful for a good, well-paying job. Enjoy your soon to be empty house!

CBlu--Hooray for the house. You have worked so hard!

OB-hope the wireless thing worked out.

Ck, amen to the sleeping baby comment. I could watch DD sleep for hours...and have done so on occasion. Congrats on the new position!

Restricter, Winky's gonna live forever. He'll be walking into the sunset with Evil Kitty long after we're all gone.

ATG, I'm so glad Fig is doing better!! Sorry about the rough day; I hope you took the advice and added some booze to your Coke.

I'm steeling myself for an early AM wake up and plane ride. Hope everyone is having a good night!

Good New Year's Eve Morning to all of you.
I'm getting ready for Meals on Wheels. And, then a major counter top clean-up and off to the market for the stars of the evening, the lobsters. Good friend, some champers and Andy Cohen's Bravo Special New Years Eve special, The New Years Eve Wig Drop! We are so boring. It will be a chore to keep awake until 10, let alone midnight!
Can't wait. Happy day to all of you ladies and gents. And any non-posters, too.

Good Morning!

Collin and I are still in bed. For weeks I've been fighting some sort of bug. Thought it was gone, but the sore throat and headache are back with a vengeance. Hoping to snuggle in all weekend!

Happy New Year's eve to all! So nice of you to do meals on wheels MissM. Around here they are proposing to change meal delivery to weekly. Lots of strong opinions on that. Daily does seem better, but expensive.
