Good morning my fellow Eskimos! Times Square was a combination ice skating rink and water park this morning. YUCK!!! This is a good day to be one of my cats. When I left, I could swear I heard them snickering at me.

Sorry for the long silence this weekend. I was taking a bit of a break from everything and just trying to relax. It worked. Now I'm back in the office and decidedly unrelaxed. The commute was a total nightmare.

Anyway, spring isn't that far off. Right?

Hi Pugsy!!

Not so silly. When Macy's bought out all the May companies, it was awful around here. Those stores were floundering, but we didn't like Macys much anyway. Now Macy's is less nice than going to Target. I could probably say Walmart, but I've never been to Walmart. Even in the NY Macys, all I see is a collection of concessions. It's been that way for years. I would rather not shop there. Their stuff seems inferior, their customer service is invisible. I would much rather shop at Nordstrom where customer service still makes a difference.

No, I agree. SO used to like getting his polos there, always had great sales. I've transferred him to Nordstrom :D

I was just so sad when they bought Marshall Fields, the flagship downtown looked like an outlet center, was just awful.

BTW, the supposedly dying cat spent the weekend eating me out of house and home. I made some Purdue chicken breast tenders for him and you can imagine my shock/horror/consternation at being awoken at 3am Monday morning by Winky screaming for me to cut some more up for him. NOW, darnit. And this was after 3 helpings.

I can safely say that input and output are just fine.

Is there really something wrong with this animal? Really?
