Love the silk bomber. What color did you get ? Would love to see an action pic pls if you are so inclined

It's purple. If I can find it, you can see it.

He does a Tribal long (not too long when belted) silk shirt that can be worn as a dress. I think the red would be stunning. I'm obsessed with silk shirt dresses.

I really like that most of his things can be for men or women, but without making a big deal about it.

Both sound amazing! Would love to see! :drinks:

I'm currently reading "Five love affairs and a friendship' about Nancy Cunard's life in Paris.
I've always been facinated by her ( and similar iconic women of her era, MarchesaCasati, Josephine Baker, Colette etc) and I'm finding this book enjoyable because it gives an insight into her life in segments based around her relationships at that time.
Prior to this I read a beautiful book ' The Elegance of the Hedgehog' by Muriel Barbery' It was a book that really touched me.
I believe its been made into movie though I've yet to see the film (which I think is in French).
I love reading and go through phases of reading specific genres.
on the subject of books.... - yes I just finished 'the elegance of the hedgehog' and will download the movie when I find it. Superb! thank you.
Loved all three of these books!

I am currently reading Billionaire's Row (about Manhattan supertalls) which is much more fascinating than you'd think, and re-reading a lot of Steven Pinker. I would like the Thursday Murder Club guy (Richard Osman) to write a book every six months, though - that mix of cozy and mysterious is a great distraction!
Regrettably, I have now run out of the 'cosy & mysterious ' murder club series - anxious about when is the next one supposed to be out.:panic: Amusing bit about the fakes in antique/art business. Possibly similarities to Hermes bag fakes as well..

Hello to fellow readers and fellow Hermes aficionados! Your recommendations have been the best. Started on ‘billionaire’s row’ now and will report at a later date.
Those of you who have read ‘the elegance of the hedgehog ‘ (L'Élégance du hérisson) what is the brand of the amazing 🤩 toilet roll does anyone know? ( it’s like the Hermes of loo rolls!) And can I also get my toilet to play Mozart when someone flushes???

How wonderful did that apartment sound? and toilet of dreams...except I'd get mine to play Nivarna's 'Smells like teen spirit' when I flush

We saw Hadestown on Broadway and it was a really great performance. (Even though I didn’t understand what was happening for the first 30 min lol.) The cast had these leather overalls and the whole time I was thinking, “these are so Hermes-esque! Wonder when something like this will end up on the runway!” Lolol!! Just wait for SS25!!

Back to reading lists- hope I am not boring everyone to death. Reading the ‘billionaires row’ for the second time - yes there is much more to it than initially thought. Looking forward to ‘ we solve murders ‘ coming up soon. Anyone knows when we can expect the 5th book to ‘the Thursday murder club’ though? I miss Elizabeth! Also listening on audible to a book called ‘Luminous life’ rather enjoyable actually…
Anyway hope you are enjoying your summer dear TPF friends - desperately trying to keep this Hermes related so here is a photo of the tea cup I use while reading…

I think in the acknowledgments at the end of the fourth book the author might have mentioned he is focusing on another project next, so perhaps there will be a little wait, but you are not alone in your impatience! These books are perfect for a long flight!
